Gladiator Arena 2v2 Template
Welcome to the 2v2 Gladiator Arena. During these streams, my subscribers will create teams of
two gladiators, make a team name and submit them to me. I will pick the gladiators from
YouTube comments, from my Patreon page, and a few extra during the live chat.
In order to be picked from YouTube comments, you should be subscribed to the channel and
leave a like on the video (I am shameless). I will also select a handful of channel members each
time as well as a few characters from my Patreon page.
Once the stream begins, I will use challonge random brackets to determine the matchups. The
gladiators will have to fight each other in a 2v2 best of 3 format. The finals will be a best of 5. I
will pitch the gladiators up against each other in an arena map. Both units will be controlled by
the AI, but different AI’s can now be chosen by the players. The gladiators with the highest
combined speed stat will be the first to attack. If gladiators are tied in speed, the one with the
highest skill will go first instead, if skill is tied it will be decided by a coin flip. If too much time
passes in a fight, a sudden death mechanic will kick in.
For each team, one gladiator will start in the front, the other in the rear, this means the two
gladiators that go first won’t get to both strike first. It also lets players position themselves
strategically.
This is the arena the contestants will be fighting in.
(The pillars give +20% avoid & +1 defense).

Palette:
Partner Name: Fill out the name of your partner Gladiator. They must also submit their
Gladiator for the submission to be viable.
Position: Put either Front or Back. This will determine who will enter combat first. Tankier builds
are recommended to be in front, whereas casters and healers are better in the back.
Support: You can have a C, B or A support with your partner. C costs 1 skill point, B costs 2
skill points, and A costs 3 skill points (keep in mind that supports are one way only, if both
partners want to support each other, they both need to spend these points).

Stats
There are no growth rates in the arena due to their RNG nature. Gladiators all come with the
same personal bases. Then class bases are added on top of that (which you can find on the
next page).
You can also influence your total bases with up to 5 boons and banes. You must have as many
boons as you have banes, and you can select the same boon/bane multiple times. You don’t
have to pick any boons or banes if you don’t want to. Here’s how much they influence your
stats.

CON: +2/-2
Note: You cannot select a magic bane if you are a pure physical class, nor can you select a
strength bane if you are a purely magical class. Physical classes are those who just wield
physical weapons, and magic classes are those who just wield magic, those who have both are
considered mixed classes and can pick both bones/banes. If the bane of a selected stat reaches
0 (or 1 in case of Con & Move), remaining points will be deducted from HP instead

which you get for free. Classes don’t come with base luck, so it’s not listed to save some space.

Unique Animations
If your unit has been selected, you may submit a set of custom animations, either as a link to
the Fire Emblem Repo (Linked in the description of the videos) or ones that you have made
yourself, via Email to [email protected]
Note that the animations you send must include all the weapons that your unit can use. The
animations must also be somewhat similar to the class animations (For example, if you picked a
Paladin, your animations must have the unit riding a horse).
The animations must be free of bugs to avoid any unexpected crashes during stream.
Otherwise, it will not be accepted.

You will get 10 Skill Points total to allocate between purchasing Skills. Skills come in four tiers,
S-Tier, A-Tier, B-Tier and C-Tier. They cost more points depending on their power. There is a
full list of all skills and their descriptions below. Keep in mind that a character can only have 5
skills total, since every class comes with a class skill. Multiple skills of the same type do not
stack (swordmaster +15% crit cannot be combined with a personal +15% crit to get +30%).

Provoke: Enemies will prioritize attacking this unit if they are in range.
Power Staff: After using a staff, grants another action (once per turn).
Resolve: When HP is below 50%, gain +50% Str, Skl, & Spd.
Devil's Luck: Your unit is immune to devil reversal and transfers its own devil backfire rate to
your opponent IF your unit has a Devil Axe equipped OR the Devil’s Whim skill (31% - YOUR
luck chance to backfire).
Inspiring Tune: Refreshing an ally grants them +2 Strength and Defense until next turn.

Shadowgift: Allows the use of Dark magic if the user can already use other magic.
Aether: Strikes twice, first attack with Sol, second attack with Luna. (Skill/2 % activation)
Grisly Wound: Deals damage equal to 20% of enemy’s Max HP after every combat.
Savage Blow: Deals 20% damage to enemies within 2 tiles after initiating combat.
Critical Force: Gains 1.5% crit per point of skill, rather than 0.5%.
Bane: Leave the opponent at 1 HP. (Skill/2% activation) [Does not activate if you do 0 damage]
Rightful Lord: +10% to Skill activation rate [Assassins cannot pick this]
Quick Burn: +15% Hit & Avoid. This bonus decreases by 1 each turn.
Hero: +30% skill activation rate when HP is below 50% (Assassins cannot pick this).
Devil's Pact: Your unit is immune to devil reversal and your opponents have a 31% - THEIR
luck chance of damaging themselves.
Lumina: Allows the use of Light magic if the user can already use other magic.
Devil's Whim: This unit has constant devil backfire (31% - luck chance to damage self), but so
do enemies.
All Stats +1: Grants +1 to all Combat stats (Not HP, Con, or Mov)
Keep up: If a unit is within 3 tiles of a unit with Canto or Canto+, grants +2 Movement.
Poison Strike: Deals damage equal to 20% of Max HP to enemy after initiating combat.
Axefaith: Grants Luck*1.5 extra hit % when wielding axes, and axes can’t lose durability.
Infiltrator: If within 2 spaces of two or more enemies, gain +3 damage and +15% hit.
Counter: Reflect Physical damage received at 1-2 range. Can’t kill the enemy.
CounterMagic: Reflect Magical damage received at 1-2 range. Can’t kill the enemy.
Spectrum Stance: +2 attack, speed, defense, and resistance when foe initiates battle.
Light Weight: When holding three or less items, attack speed +3.
Ignis: Adds 50% of defense & resistance to damage dealt. (Skill % activation)
Inspiration: Your ally within 2 tiles deals +2 damage and receives -2 damage.
Charisma: +10 hit and avoid to your ally if they are within 3 tiles.
Armor March: At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to an armor ally, the unit and adjacent armor
ally gain +2 Mov.
Charge: Gain 1 damage for every 2 tiles moved. Bonus is not kept during the Enemy phase.
Blue Flame: +2 attack. Grants another +2 attack if adjacent to an ally with this same skill.
Vanity: Gain +2 Damage and +10 Hit when fighting enemy at 2 range.
Chivalry: When foe is at full HP, deals +4 damage and takes -4 damage.
Pragmatic: When foe is not at full HP, deals +3 damage and takes -1 damage.
Armsthrift: Luck % chance to not consume weapon durability. [For each hit]
Arcane Blade: When initiating battle at 1 range: Add 3+(MAG/2) to Hit and Crit.
Slow Burn: +1 Hit and Avoid for each passing turn, up to 15.
Triangle Adept: Double weapon triangle advantages AND disadvantages for user.
Liquid Ooze: Attackers trying to gain HP from attacking this unit lose it instead.
Puissance: +3 Damage when the user's Strength is higher than the enemy's.
Holy Aura: Gain +1 damage, +5% hit, +5% avoid, +5% crit when using light magic.
Silent Pride: Gain 2 damage and take -2 damage per 25% below max HP.
Mage Slayer: Gain +2 damage and +10% crit when facing enemies that can use Magic.
Outrider: Take -1 damage and gain +3% crit per space moved. (Unit’s phase only)
Heavy Blade: +4 Damage/-2 Attack Speed when unit's Con is bigger than the enemy.
