Hot pot or hotpot, also known as soup-food or
steamboat, is a Chinese cooking method, prepared
with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining
table, containing a variety of East Asian foodstuffs
and ingredients.

Concept & Design
The food village spirit lives on within the walls of
Malaya Village. The modern-contemporary eatery
has a lively and comfortable ambience that makes
dining a more comfortable experience than at most
roadside stalls. Communal tables fill the family-
friendly restaurant while a 1970s playlist can be
heard in the background.
Signature Street Store
Besides the usual mini restaurant/food stalls,
we are bringing it to the next level by
incorpora/ng signature street store. Modern
tradi/onal food carts, tricycle cart and
custom made kiosk will be brought in to
elevate the whole dining experience.
Atmosphere
Whole restaurant are decorate with original Malaya
Chinese design and decoration mood from 18’s century
modern vintage.

are bustling with several pictures of delicacies that make
the thriftiest of people spend some extra dollars. If we
want the orders rolling in, then we have to take advantage
of social media platforms to promote the restaurant online.
There are tons of social media platforms out there and we
can categorise Instagram is King, Facebook is Queen and
the rest are puns. The key to going social and churning in
profit is posting top-notch food pictures and video clips.
