English
Instructions:
* Do all written work in a separate notebook.
* Learn all the work that has been completed in the class notebook.
Tasks:
1. Reading Practice:
Read the newspaper daily to improve your vocabulary and
comprehension.
2. Grammar Practice:
Learn and write the three forms of verbs given on Page No. 53 of your
grammar book.
3. Handwriting Practice:
Write 20 pages of English handwriting to improve writing skills.
4. Chart Activity (Choose any one topic):
The Sentence and its Kinds
OR
The Noun and its kinds
5. Project Work (on A4 sheet or chart paper):
Paste or draw a picture of any female sportsperson of India and write a
few lines about her achievements.
6. Responsibility at Home:
Make a list of the tasks you perform at home to help your parents and
show responsibility.

Mathematics
Instructions:
● Use colors and creativity to make your work neat and attractive.
● Write your name, class and section on every sheet and chart.
● Submit the work in a file or folder after the summer break.
1. Book Work
Complete all the exercises of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in your Maths
textbook.
2. Tables Practice
Learn and write tables from 0 to 20 on separate sheets.
3. Practice Work on Sheet
Do 15 sums of the following:
- 6-digit Addition with Carrying - 6-digit Subtraction with
Borrowing
- 3-digit Multiplication - 3-digit Division
4. Fractions Activity (A4 Sheet)
Show different types of fractions (like 1/2, 1/4, 3/4, etc.) using
pictures or drawings.

5. Measuring Length Activity (A4 Sheet)


Draw and show how to measure different lengths (in cm, m, km)
using rulers or measuring tapes.

6. Maths Chart (Choose Any One Topic)


Make a colorful chart on any one of the following topics:
- Place Value Chart
- Measuring Time
- Snakes and Ladders Game using Roman Numerals
Environmental Studies (EVS)
Dear Students,
Kindly complete the following assignments during your summer
vacation. Ensure neatness and creativity in your work.

1. Art & Craft Activity:


Create a photo frame using waste or recycled materials.
2. Field Visit:
Visit Gurudwara with your parents and participate in serving food in the
Langar.
3. Chart Work:
● Prepare a chart on the Water Cycle.
● Prepare a chart on the theme Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (Refer to
Page 62 of your textbook).
● Prepare a chart showing Different Signs and Symbols (Refer to Page
54 of your textbook).
4. Reading Practice:
Read one page daily from your EVS textbook to improve your reading
skills.
5. Revision:
Revise and learn all the work done in your EVS notebook for Periodic
Test - 1 (PT-1).

Art & Craft


1. A4 Size Sheet Activities
a) My Favorite Animal (Drawing & Coloring)
* Draw your favorite animal on an A4 size sheet.
* Color it neatly.
* Write 3-4 lines about why it is your favorite.

b) Nature Scene
* Draw a nature scene (like a garden, beach, or forest).
* Use crayons or watercolors.
* Add elements like trees, birds, sun, etc.

2. Chart Activities (Half or Full Chart Paper)


a) Seasons Chart
* Make a chart showing the four seasons(Summer, Winter, Monsoon,
Spring).
* Draw and color clothes, food, and activities related to each season.

b) My Dream House
* Create a colorful chart of your dream house using paper cut-outs,
drawings, or stickers.
* Label different parts: kitchen, bedroom, garden, etc.

3. Card-Making Activities
a) Best Out of Waste Greeting Card
* Use waste materials (used buttons, fabric, old newspapers) to make a
greeting card.
* Write a nice message inside (like “Happy Holidays” or “Thank You”).

b) Friendship Day Card


* Make a card for your best friend.
* Decorate with stickers, glitter, or drawings.
* Write a friendship quote or poem inside.

4. Bonus Craft Ideas (Choose Any One)


* Paper Origami: Make 2–3 animals or flowers using origami paper.
* Clay Art: Use clay or playdough to make simple fruit or vegetable
shapes.
* Paper Collage: Cut pictures from magazines/newspapers and make a
collage on “My School” or “My Family”.

* Revise Chapter 1: Data Storage and Memory


* Revise Chapter 2: Managing Files and Folders in Windows 10
* Read Chapter 3: Formatting Text
* Read Chapter 8: AI vs. Intelligence
* Complete the exercises given in both chapters from your
textbook.
2. Chart Making Activity
Prepare a neat and creative chart on any one of the following
topics:
a. A labelled diagram of a Computer System showing all its parts.
b.Types of Devices*– Input Devices, Output Devices, and Storage
Devices.
c.Types of Computer Memory – Create a chart showing different
types of memory. You may also paste relevant pictures to enhance
your presentation.
3. Poster Making
Design a colourful and informative poster on the Applications of
Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various domains and industries.
👉 Refer to Page No. 85 in your textbook for reference.
4. Written Work
Write the difference between Human Intelligence and Artificial
Intelligence on a separate A4 size sheet.
👉 Refer to Page No. 89 in your textbook for guidance.

a) Learning Task
Learn all exercises from Page 3 to 23
b) Activity Task
1. Write a brief description about 5 unique animals and paste their
pictures. (Refer page - 13)
2. Write a brief description about 5 insect eating plants and paste
their pictures. (Refer page - 14)
3. Write 10 points on " How to make our environment clean?"
and paste pictures accordingly. (Refer page - 22)
(Note :- Make a project file and work should be done on A4
size sheets)
c) Creativity Task
1. Draw /Paste 10 Traffic signs and write their meanings on A3 size
sheets. (Refer Page -18)
2. Draw /Paste 10 Sports Icons and write their names accordingly
