VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!
- REBOOT THE CAMERA ONCE BEFORE THE UPDATE!!! In the Web interface go to:
Software - Restart
Only after you have restarted the camera, please to the update.
- Never disconnect the power supply during the update
- The update can take up to 12 minutes since the camera will automatically put
all
settings back after updating so that you dont loose any settings
- If there are disconnections in your network, INSTAR accepts no
Warranty claims caused by a faulty update process
- Always wait until the countdown has finished. In some cases it can be that the
camera needs more time then the countdown... so please wait until your camera
is reachable again.
How to install the new firmware?
- Open the web interface of your camera
- On the left side please click on "Software - Update"
- Please choose by "Select" the file update.pkg
- Press "submit" and the update will be sent to the camera
- After about 300 secounds the update process will be finished
- In some cases please make sure you clear the cache of your webbrowser in order
to see the new features
