PRAYERS

Srila Prabhupada Pranati

nama om vishnu-padaya krishna-preshthaya bhu-tale


srimate bhaktivedanta-svamin iti namine

I offer my respectful obeisances unto His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami


Prabhupada, who is very dear to Lord Krishna, having taken shelter at His lotus feet.

namas te sarasvate deve gaura-vani-pracarine


nirvisesha-sunyavadi-pascatya-desa-tarine

Our respectful obeisances are unto you, O spiritual master, servant of Bhaktisiddhanta
Saraswati Goswami. You are kindly preaching the message of Lord Chaitanyadeva and
delivering the Western countries, which are filled with impersonalism and voidism.

Pancha tattva mantra

jaya śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu nityānanda


śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda

All glories to Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Lord Nityānanda, Śrī Advaita Acharya,
Gadādhara Pandita Prabhu, Śrīvāsa Thākura and all those devotees who follow in their
footsteps.

Nityananda Pranama Mantra

nityanandam aham naumi


sarvananda-karam param
hari-nama-pradam devam
avadhuta-shiromanim

"I bow down to the Supreme Lord Nityananda Prabhu, who is the awarder of the highest joy
to all, the bestower of the holy name and the crest jewel of all paramahamsa mendicants."

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Pranama Mantra

namo maha-vadanyaya
krishna-prema-pradaya te
krishnaya krishna-chaitanya-
namne gaura-tvise namaha

"O most munificent incarnation! You are Krishna Himself appearing as Sri Krishna Caitanya
Mahaprabhu. You have assumed the golden color of Srimati Radharani, and You are widely
distributing pure love of Krishna. We offer our respectful obeisances unto You."
(Cc.Madhya. 19.53)
Krishna Pranama Mantra

namo brahmaṇya-devāya
go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca
jagad-dhitāya kṛṣṇāya
govindāya namo namaḥ

'Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is the worshipable Deity for all
brahminical men, who is the well-wisher of cows and brāhmaṇas, and who is always
benefiting the whole world. I offer my repeated obeisances to the Personality of Godhead,
known as Kṛṣṇa and Govinda.'

Balarama (Baladeva) Pranama Mantra

namas te haladhṛgrāma
namas te muśalāyudha
namas te revatī-kānta
namas te bhakta-vatsala

namas te balināḿ śreṣtḥ a


namas te dharaṇ ī-dhara

pralambāre namas te 'stu


trāhi māḿ kṛsṇ ̣ a-pūrvaja

Obeisances to You, O holder of the plow. Obeisances to You, O wielder of the mace.
Obeisances to You, O darling of Revati. Obeisances to You, O kind benefactor of Your
devotees.

Obeisances to You, O upholder of the earth. Obeisances to You, O best of the strong.
Obeisances to You, O enemy of Pralamba. Please come to me, older brother of Krishna.

Jagannath Baladeva Subhadra Pranama Mantra

Niladrau shankha madye shata tala kamale ratnasimhasana stau


sarvaalankara yuktam navaghanaruchiram samsthitam chaagrajena
Bhadrayam vamabhage rathacharana yutham Brahma rudraadi vandyam
Vedaanaam saaram ekam sakalagunamayam daarubhrahmam smaraami !

In the beautiful conch shaped mountain called Niladri there is a thousand petalled lotus. A
jeweled throne rests upon this lotus flower.
On this throne, Lord Jagannath is seated with His elder brother Baladeva, younger sister
Subhadra and His weapon Sudarshan.
Lord Jagannath is as lovely as a freshly formed cloud and is decorated in all kinds of
ornamentation.
All demigods headed by Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva are offering prayers to Lord Jagannath,
who is the abode of all transcendental qualities and is the ultimate essence of all Vedic
literatures.
I remember Lord Jagannatha who is the Supreme Absolute Truth in the form of a wooden
deity.

Jagannatha Pranama Mantra

Nilāchala nivāsāya nityāya paramātmane


Balabhadra Subhadrābhyām Jagannāthayate namah

I offer my humble obeisances to Lord Jagannatha who is present as the Supersoul


accompanying all the living entities. He resides with His brother Baladeva and sister
Subhadra in the holy abode of Puri – Nilāchala

Jagadānanda kandāya pranatārtha harāya ca


nilācala nivāsāya Jagannāthaya te namah

I offer my respectful obeisances unto Sri Jagannatha, Who resides in the holy abode of
Nilachala. He is famous for completely removing all the distress of those who offer
prostrated obeisances unto Him.

Subhadra Devi Pranama Mantra

devi tvam visnu māyāpi mohāyanti carācaram


hrt padmāsana sansthāsi visnu bhāvānusārinī

O Devi, You are Lord Visnu’s maya, and as such You cause the bewilderment of all moving
and non-moving living entities in the universe. The lotus seat of Your heart is the sitting
place of great loving devotion to Lord Visnu.”

jaya devi bhakti-dātri prasidā paramesvari


jaya devi subhadra tvam sarvesam bhadra-dayinī

All glories to You, the bestower of bhakti! You are famous as the supreme controller of
these material universes. All glories to You, Subhadra Devi, the giver of auspiciousness to
one and all.

Sudarshan Pranama Mantra

sudarsana mahā-jvāla koti surya samaprabha


ajnana-timirāndasya me nityam vishnumārga pradarshaya
O Sudarshana Your great effulgence is as brilliant as millions of suns! May you dispel the
darkness of ignorance and always reveal the path to the eternal world of Lord Vishnu -
Vaikuntha.

Vaishnava Pranama Mantra

vāñchā-kalpatarubhyaś ca kṛpā-sindhubhya eva ca


patitānāṁ pāvanebhyo vaiṣṇavebhyo namo namaḥ

I offer my respectful obeisances unto all the Vaiṣṇava devotees of the Lord. They are just
like desire trees who can fulfill the desires of everyone, and they are full of compassion for
the fallen conditioned souls.

Hare Krishna Mahamantra

hare kṛṣṇa hare kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare


hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare

O Srimati Radharani (the divine energy of the Lord Krishna), O all-attractive reservoir of
pleasure, Lord Sri Krishna, please engage me in Your loving devotional service.
