also called nouns.

Common Nouns

Common nouns are the general names given to people, animals, places, or
things of the same kind.

Examples:

Thing flower, car

Proper Nouns

Proper nouns are special names given to specific people, animals, places, or
things.
They always begin with a capital letter.

Examples:
