Job Title: Scientist I/ Associate Scientist


Function: R&D Report to: R&D Head
Position
Location: HQ Based (Navi Mumbai) Full Time
Type:

Key Deliverables:
• Design and perform experiments with supervision, analyze and interpret data, and present findings in internal meetings.
• Perform cell culture, cell banking, cell-based assay, immunological assays (ELISA, Flow cytometry) etc.
• Maintain detailed and accurate lab records, experimental documentation, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and clinical research.
• Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to strategic scientific discussions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with biosafety and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing manuscripts and grant reports as needed.
• Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies relevant to the research focus and participate in Journal club.

Qualifications & Experience:


• M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.Pharm / Integrated BS-MS or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular
Biology, or related disciplines.

• >2 years of research experience in an academic or industrial lab setting relevant to the research domain.
Preferred Qualities

• Strong understanding of basic and applied immunology and cell biology concepts.
• Prior experience with any of the following is a strong plus: gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9), CAR-T cell development, viral vector
design, scFv production, preparation and characterization of mRNA, Bioinformatics and omics data handling, GMP training, Mice
handling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new techniques and evolving project goals.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
