Hi!

My name is Irina Tarasova, and, since you’ve purchased this photo tutorial, you
must be a Tilda Bunny fan, just like I am.

Credit for the idea of a bunny of this type belongs to Bella Makaeva. I found a
pattern for the body of this bunny on the internet and modified it to perfect its
shape. All the clothes and color scheme are of my own invention.

In this photo tutorial, I will teach you step by step, using detailed written
instructions accompanied by progress photos, how to crochet and knit a
“Gretchen” set of doll clothes to fit a bunny of 40 cm [15.75 inches] height (final
size will depend on your individual gauge). The result will be a loveable little
outfit just like this.

Tips and Hints:

My most important tip would be to try on the garments as you work them up.
Individual gauge varies. If the garment seems too tight, add another increase row,
it it’s too big – work a few decreases more. I knit at a medium gauge.

Dress

Top of the dress

Worked in Alize Lanagold Fine Classic in color beige (called “beige” in pattern),
stripes in Brilliant, color coffee with cream (called “coffee” in pattern) on 4 mm
[US6, UK8] needles.
Additionally, a spare circular is needed for the sleeves.

Take up a piece of tulle in light cream color, 200 cm [79 in] long and 24 cm [9.5
in] wide. Fold in half length-wise. Gather tulle on a piece of sturdy thread or floss
until it matches the waist circumference of the bunny.
