1. Introduction
The new Brazilian taxes (CBS, IBS and IS) are expected to be present in the nota
fiscal taxes on a regular base, but they should not impact the nota fiscal totals
during the year 2026, as they are used only for testing purposes. This SAP Note
indicates system adjustments to comply with the new tax reform specifications in
SD scenarios.
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to guide you through the configuration steps to
adjust the new taxes as statistical in sales scenarios, both for the nota fiscal and
accounting flows, during the test period.
1.2 Scope
This document guides you through the steps you need to follow to configure the
new taxes as statistical during the CBS, IBS and IS testing period.
2. Configuration Steps
2.1 Set new taxes as statistical for the nota fiscal flow
2.1.1 Open the Table View Maintenance: Initial Screen (SM30) transaction.
2.1.2 Enter, in the Table/View field, the Set Tax Type as Statistical for Specific
Scenarios (J_1BDF_STAT_TAXV) and click Edit.
2.1.3 For each one of the new taxes (CBS and IBS), enter the Nota Fiscal Type, Nota
Fiscal Item Type and its respective Tax Type.
2.1.4 Save your entries.
2.1.5 The tax types of the new taxes and an example are given bellow:

2.2 Set new taxes as statistical for the accounting flow
2.2.1 Open the Change View “Procedures”: Overview (V/08) transaction.
2.2.2 Select your relevant pricing procedure (RVABRA or RVXBRA).
2.2.3 In the Dialog Structure tree, click Procedures – Control Data.
2.2.4 For the steps corresponding to the new taxes (CBS and IBS), mark the
Statistical column.
2.2.5 Save your entries.
