0 GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Complies with the following laws and regulations, standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
TCVN (Vietnam national standard)

IEC (International electrical standard)
JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards)
BS (British standard)
2. The Contractor shall apply all permits which concerned the work and such fee shall be borne by the Contractor.
3. Regarding wiring, the types of electric wires and cables are basically copper cables for general electric wires. Aluminum could be
selected for the bus duct.
4. The wiring used for disaster prevention shall be carried out according to the site of the facility and the disaster prevention
equipment by the construction method conforming to the related laws and regulations.
5. The lighting equipment, ventilation fans, fire alarms, etc. in the electric room and machine room shall be installed so that
maintenance and inspection will not be obstructed.
6. High voltage shafts shall not be used for plumbing of rainwater, sprinklers, drains or gas.
7. Connection place located on expansion joints or incoming plumbing from outside of the building shall employ adequate flexible
joints and plumbing for protection against earthquakes or subsidence. The horizontal/vertical displacement shall be follow the
architectural design.
8. The floor finish of the power receiving / transforming room, electrical room (ER), and EPS is Epoxy.

10. In principle, power receiving and transforming equipment should be installed indoors.
11. In principle, emergency power generation equipment should be installed indoors. The soundproofing work of the generator room
(wall and louver)is under civil work.
12. Stainless steel double nuts shall be used to fix in place facilities and equipment on rooftop parking.
13. All fire shutters and fire doors shall be linked with fire detector.
14. Lighting and AC equipment of specified area, extended business hours zone, and their traffic line shall be able to operate by
independent control groups, allowing control as individual systems.
15. The system bared to customer shall be painted by the approval color and in accordance to authorities guidelines.
16. Distribution board(DB) shall be located in the machine room or EPS to avoid impeding backyard traffic flow.
17. Each pipe and wire shall be indicated by use and circuit, and colored by use (see picture below).
18. Supply voltage for major machinery and equipment shall depend on local electrical standards.
19. If salt corrosion is anticipated, corrosion prevention measures shall be provided at equipment and pipe fitting. (salt corrosion
criteria: employ stainless steel equipment, metal fastener or others)
20. Adequate attention shall be paid to generated noise by equipment. If noise countermeasures are needed for the neighborhood,
the Contractor shall properly implement such measures in the Contract.
(The noise level is 75 dB or less during the day and 65 dB or less at night at the boundary line.)
21. Lists of major equipment and materials, vendors and vendor drawings shall submit and get approval from
22. Equipment, which is visible from outside, shall be paid special care to the location and arrangement. (e.g., louvered fence

23. Embedded electrical wiring, conduit and trunking in the slab is basically prohibited as the following reasons;
⚫ To prevent cutting wirings by anchor bolt installation of "C" work.
⚫ To ensure the structural strength.
⚫ To prevent water leakage from junction box.
*The floor outlets, telephones, and LAN, it’s permitted the piping work in the floor except OA floor area.
24. The followings shall be installed in Security room for centralized supervisory services of entire building by central monitoring
panel via remote panel
⚫ Control panel for firefighting system (input/output devices including entire firefighting equipment, e.g., smoke exhaust fan,
fire door, fire shutter, cutout relay and gas emergency shutoff valve)
⚫ Confirmation of tenant's electricity and water charges.
⚫ Centralized lighting control panel and PA system panel (excluding tenant area)
⚫ Centralized lighting for signage control panel (excluding tenant area)
⚫ HVAC central controller(※) (including tenant area; controlling and monitoring)
⚫ System for monitoring the operation of condenser unit
⚫ Water supply & waste water treatment facility monitoring system (※)
The operation monitoring panel is for central monitoring + remote start / stop and setting value change is electrical work,
and the control of equipment (DDC panel) is mechanical work.
⚫ Remote automatic door control panel ※Control can be locked and unlocked individually and simultaneously.
⚫ Electric locks control panel
⚫ Monitoring panel for Elevator and escalator operation.
⚫ CCTV system control panel
⚫ Security system control panel (linked to sub-control panel in security control room)
⚫ Electrical device monitoring panel such as electric circuit breaker, switch, relay etc
⚫ Parking control Panel , Monitoring the number of parking spaces.
⚫ Control panel for opening or closing of security shutter (including loading bay and dry/wet bin)
