- The last time I went to the cinema was last week. This is CGV cinema, and the film that I chose

- The last time I went to the movies was with a colleague after we finished work. We work on the

To prepare for the exam today, I chose a little bit of a polite and simple outfit. It's just a white

attractive appearance and modern style of music. To sum it all up, he is the biggest idol in my mind.

There are many traditional and delicious foods in Vietnam but I think the most. the famous food is
Pho. It has become the must-try (phải thử) dish on VN for any visitors. It's tasty, cheap, and available
at all hours. The specialty of the food is the broth. It is made by stewing the bones of cows and pigs for
a long time in a large pot. I love Pho very much so I can eat it every day.

12.1 What is the typical meal in your country?

I live in Vietnam, so the typical meal consisting of the centerpiece (món không thể thiếu) is typically
steamed white rice (cơm trắng). Accompanying the rice are various savory dishes (món mặn), which

- Today, I want to talk about my favorite film. It is a cartoon called "Tom and
Jerry". Tom is a blue and white cat. His job is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a
brown mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. The film is a

33. What is your favorite festival?
If I had to choose a personal favorite Vietnamese festival, I would highlight Tết - the
Lunar New Year celebration. It's a festival that brings people together, honors traditions,
and ushers (mở ra/ bắt đầu) in a new chapter with hope and excitement.
34. Please tell me about your hobbies and interests? (30 seconds)
I am extremely keen on swimming. If I get the chance, I’ll go every day. I love going to
the beach because I really enjoy swimming for this reason, I’m there nearly every
morning in summer. For instance, last week I went swimming every day and twice on
Saturday and not only is swimming good fun, but it’s healthy too. What I mean to say is
that if you swim every day, you’ll stay fit. On the other hand, I’m not a distance
swimmer. It’s more for pleasure really. I’d say that I was mostly a keen amateur and that
means I don’t take it too seriously.
35. What do you like to do in your free time?
In my downtime, I really like doing sports. I go to the gym a few times a week to work
out and I also try to play basketball with my friends on Saturdays. Although going to the
gym helps keep you fit, for me playing a team sport is more rewarding and fun., and you
get more of a social-like when you go out with your friends and teammates after the
game.

Today is a typical late summer day. It’s quite comfortable, maybe around 23
degrees and a little cloudy, mostly the big clouds that look like pillows. There is
plenty of blue sky and so it feels pleasant. Recently, the weather hasn’t been that good
and while there hasn’t been much rain, it’s been cloudy and not very warm. Fortunately,
we’re lucky where I live because it is never very cold, below zero is rare.
37. What do you find relaxing?
I find fishing very relaxing especially fishing in a beautiful place on a warm sunny day.
For me, this is usually a lake near where I live. The good thing about this place is that it is
not too big and there are trees around it, so it’s quite sheltered and tranquil. There is also
a lot of wildlife to look at. When I arrive there early in the morning and know that I can
sit quietly all-day, it is the most relaxing feeling. Catching a few fish is a bonus.
