MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:

Sections examined reveal two linear cores of renal
corticomedullary parenchyma showing 10 glomeruli on serial
levels. 03 are globally sclerosed, while rest of the glomeruli
show diffuse mesangial and endocapillary proliferation with
four of these showing cellular crescents. There are foci of
moderate interstitial inflammation with prominent collections
of foam cells. There is moderate degree of interstitial
fibrosis and tubular atrophy involving approximately 30% of
the renal parenchymal cores. The blood vessels identified are
histologically unremarkable.
The sections were stained with the following antibodies by
Direct Immunofluorescence technique. Results are as follows:
IgG Negative.
