A 4 kg block is pushed against a wall by a force F that makes an angle θ with the
horizontal. The coefficient of the static friction between the block and the wall is
0,25.

a frictionless pulley. The constant tension force T of 10 N, causes the block to
move horizontally a distance of 0,4 m to the right. The height between the

between the rough surface and the block is 0,4

and -6 x 10-9 C respectively. The spheres are allowed to touch each other and
then placed 1,5 m apart as shown.

7.1 A coil of wire consists of 20 densely packed loops. Each loop has an area of
1,5 x 10-3 m2. A magnetic field is perpendicular to the surface of each loop.
When t = 0 s, the magnitude of the magnetic field in the coil is 0,05 T. Later at
time t = 0,1 s, the magnetic field in the coil is 0,06 T.

7.1.1 State the Faraday’s law in words. (2)

7.1.2 Calculate the magnetic flux in each loop at t = 0 s. (3)

7.1.3 Calculate the change in magnetic flux in each loop during the 0,1 s. (2)
