Application

Descaler for any type of metal (except for aluminium and zinc).

Advantages

This product has a metal protection through a corrosion inhibitor, coupled with
a rapid acid solution action for deep scale penetration. DESCALER MTA has
demonstrated its unique ability to effectively clean and eliminate uric acid build-
ups in sanitation vacuum systems to the marine industry. Ship owners are turning
to Uniservice Unisafe as more and more cruise vessels face clogging problems in
their vacuum systems. DESCALER MTA is an online solution for eliminating hard
deposits inherent in vacuum systems formed by uric acid.

Directions For Use – Product Dose

DESCALER MTA can be administered either through circulation or immersion,


depending on the size of the equipment that requires descaling.

By Circulation
1. Preparation
A. Empty the circuit to be descaled.
B. Prepare a 50% DESCALER MTA solution.
C. Install a fume vent at the top of the circuit to be descaled.

2. Descaling
A. After removing the cleaning solution, gradually add the DESCALER
MTA solution. Allow this solution to circulate for approx. 10-12 hours
depending on scale thickness.
B. During descaling, fumes and foam are formed. When descaling is
completed, empty the circuit from the bottom, and, where feasible,
remove any scale deposits left with pressure water hose.
