Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If individual is conscious, wash out mouth with water.
If symptoms develop and persist, get medical attention.
Section 5. Fire fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Use media appropriate for surrounding material.
Specific hazards arising from the Pressure build-up.
chemical:
Special protection equipment and Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
precautions for firefighters: Wear full protective clothing.
Hazardous combustion products: carbon oxides.
nitrogen oxides
Hydrocarbons
HCN
Section 6. Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Keep unprotected persons away.
Don't breathe vapours or aerosole.
Wear protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not empty into drains / surface water / ground water.
Clean-up methods: Wipe up using absorbent material.
Dispose in suitable waste container.
Wash away residue with plenty of water.
Section 7. Handling and storage
Handling: Do not get in eyes.
Do not get on skin or clothing.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
Avoid breathing vapors or mists of this product.
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers, cool and dry.
Do not let moisture contaminate this material. Product reacts with water to release carbon
dioxide, which could build up pressure in closed containers and lead to bursting. Do not
reseal if moisture contamination is suspected.
Storage at 10 to 35°C is recommended.
