Important Notes
All rounds are worked in a continuous spiral (except Giorgio’s knees, elbows and
eyelids). Do not join or turn, unless instructed otherwise
You may find it useful to use a stitchmarker for counting your rounds
Take your time to create your amigurumi’s face, it is a very important part of the
final result
While stuffing and making the wire frame take care to give each part a nice shape

Page - 4 - of 18
Take the thin wire, form a circle that fits exactly into the next round (see pictures above).
Secure the ends with rubber tape. The next round must be crocheted around, enclosing the
wire:
Round 8. (6 sc, inc)* (48)
FO. Leave a long yarn tail for sewing it into the mouth opening.
Start to create the wire frame at this point. In my case the wire for the body was
approximately 30cm long. Keep in mind the size of the hook and the gauge of the yarn
you are using. You may want to leave the wire rather a bit longer. Adjust it to the final
length, when the body’s size is evident.
Make a loop at one end of the wire. Secure it with the rubber tape. Insert the wire into the
head through the mouth opening. Start stuffing the head (stuff nicely around the wire).
Sew the palate into the mouth opening with invisible stitches (see pictures). Keep on
stuffing the head while sewing. Make sure to give the head a nice shape.

Insert the wire into the body and start stuffing. Stuff it carefully around the wire. Cut
