Dear Parent/Carer

Please find below the timetable for the year 11 Mock Examinations that will be run from 27th November -
15th December 2023. Students will not be going on study leave, but will attend lessons as normal if they
are not writing an examination.

Week 1 are mainly practical-based exams (except Computer Science exam) and weeks 2 and 3 are written
exams.

For week 1 examinations, students are to go to the location stated at the allocated time.

For week 2 & 3, students are to line up under cover way 1 at 8.40am for morning (am) exams. For afternoon
(pm) exams students are to line up under cover way 1 at 1.30pm. Please note some afternoon examinations
will finish after the normal end of school time.

These examinations should not be taken lightly, as this is an excellent opportunity for students to see how
far they have progressed in preparation for their final examinations in Summer 2024. These results will be
used to inform predicted grades on applications for the Sixth Form and any references students need to
obtain.

Please be aware that some practical exams sat during this period will count towards the overall grades of
some subjects.

Students will be required to bring the correct equipment for each examination. All exams must be written in
black pen and for most subjects, a calculator is required.

If you have received a letter regarding access arrangements, these will be put in place accordingly in line
with the timetable above.
