Each student should be provided with;
Specimen R – freshly killed rat

Solution S – distilled water (each student must be given 50cm 3)

Specimen T- Leaf of pumpkin with a stalk.

Solution R – (15ml) – 1.0 M solution of sucrose

30 ml of solution P (Potassium permanganate)

Specimen Z – large sized Irish potato

- 50ml measuring cylinder


- 10ml measuring cylinders
- 2 petro dishes
- 2 50ml beakers
- 2 20ml or 25ml beakers
- Knife
- Microscope and slides
- Specimen W – whole plant of bidens pilosa (black jack) with
flowers.
- Specimen X – spirogyra
- Specimen y – Bread mould
