1. City Council of Dodoma is the region with highest commercialization index of fruits
(grapes) and vegetables. It is located in the capital city of Tanzania. It can be
easily accessed by road from Dar es Salaam, Iringa, Singida and Arusha. It is one
of the major railway station towns along the Central Railway line and Standard
Gauge Railway (SGR). It is also accessible by air transport with frequent flights
between Dar es Salaam and Dodoma and construction of Msalato International
Airport is an added advantage.

2. City Council of Dodoma owns a parcel of land of 48,000m 2 located at Chamwino


Ward near Dodoma airport, Tanzania. It is planning to develop a state-of-the-art
investment center to create a central hub for recreation park and entertainment.

3. City Council’s mandate is to secure investors’ interest in the proposed project


and inform potentially interested private parties, investors, lenders and other
entities.
4. Therefore, City Council of Dodoma invites local and international eligible and
qualified investors to submit investment Expression of Interest (EoI) for the
maintenance, and management of Chinangali Park Recreation Centre using PPP
arrangement.
5. The preliminary evaluation criteria for the expression of interest are as follows:
i) Certified copies of legal entity documents and contact details of the
primary representatives;
ii) Company’s profile detailing experience of similar projects;

iii) Outline of the investment expression of interest indicating general
objectives, development concept, project implementation schedule,
estimated capital investment cost (CAPEX), concession time, and revenue
sharing model;
iv) Evidence of the financial capacity of investors by submitting three (3)
years of audited financial reports; and
v) Approved project will have to be commenced within 18 months after
signing a performance contract and submitting a bank guarantee.
6. City Council reserves the right to accept or reject submissions at any time prior to
short-listing and awarding.
7. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted upon completion of the evaluation of
the submitted investment EoI.

Sunja buildings in Dodoma's Central Business District (CBD). It is
planning to transform the Nyerere Square buildings into a modern hotel
and conference facility will not only address this critical need but also
contribute to the development of the city's hospitality sector.
3. City Council’s mandate is to secure investors’ interest in the proposed project
and inform potentially interested private parties, investors, lenders and other
entities.
4. Therefore, City Council of Dodoma invites local and international eligible and
qualified investors to submit investment Expression of Interest (EoI) for the
development, operation, and management of Nyerere square hotels and
conference using PPP arrangement.
5. The preliminary evaluation criteria for the expression of interest are as follows:

a large hall that can hold up to 1,000 people. Additionally, there is a spacious
