MISSION
OBJECTIVES
2
1.1.2 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
3
1.2 PROBLEM STATEMENT
Each business has its own challenges and risks including owning a vending
machine business. Therefore, we have identify the problems that will divided into two
segment that is customer and business.
Busy Lifestyle
In this modern era, people nowadays are industrious or very busy with their
activity, study and working. People do not have enough time to have a decent meal as
a result of this problem. Besides that, if the hour have past, other individuals will not
have time to go grocery shopping. As a result, having this vending machine will make
things simpler for them since the employees or students do not have time for breakfast
or during breaks, we may utilise the services of this vending machine to offer food
and drinks as well as groceries.
People tend to become tired and bored with the same menu all the time at the
nearest food court or even at the house. Thus, Roaring V-chine solves this problem by
offering a wide range of cuisines such as Malaysian, Western, and Asian cuisines.
Furthermore, we also present a seasonal cuisine to meet our customers' appetites.
People in this scenario include students who have run out of food at the
cafeteria or food court,It is difficult to get food quickly because stores are far apart,
and it takes time to wait for food delivery service, which is also expensive. The
vending machine was much more convenient because there was no delivery charge,
and Vending Machine users only had to wait a short time to get fresh food. This will
lead to time-saving solutions to our customers.
4
1.2.2 BUSINESS SEGMENT
Vandalism
Vending machine will sometimes face the issue of vandalism. This is because
the machine will be vandalised by irresponsible individuals and they will make
damage with the machine such as stole the money, scratching and drawing and etc.
The issue of damage due to vandalism will cause a lot of losses because it will cost a
lot to repair it due to the high maintenance.
Limited Location
The incidents often happen is in payment method using coins and cash. First is
when the tank was full, no more coin can be accepted. This will cause no more
purchase can be made thus vending machine will stop the operated. Secondly, the
problem with the notes cannot be read. When using notes with bad condition such as
crumpled and dirty, the vending machine cannot read the note and then rejected the
payment. Last but not least, the notes or coin stuck in machine. When the coin or the
notes inserted not in the right direction, this problem will occur.
5
1.3 OPPORTUNITY RECOGNITION
People and commerce are shifting further from cash to digital payments, and
many are now adopting mobile wallets or e-Wallet such as Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay,
Boost, WeChat Pay MY, MAE, BigPay, AliPay, and Paypal. For example nearly 45%
of the Chinese population used mobile wallets in 2018, one of the highest adoption
rates in the world.
New technologies are enabling even more convenience. Companies are testing
facial and biometric recognition payments. For example, KFC offers facial
recognition payments at 100 of locations across the country. And the Shenzhen Metro
is testing new technologies that would enable riders to pay by simply looking at a
screen. By making use of AI, facial recognition, and advanced digital displays,
vending machine providers are enabling entertaining and interactive content to drive
loyalty and increase sales.
Next, the partnerships deliver innovation. For example, pure juice partnered
with other juice brands, an automatic equipment manufacturer, to co-develop an
innovative machine. The company’s goal was to offer an appealing user experience
that would increase engagement and sales. The vending machine offers the full
service of a juice counter with an immersive self-service experience. The company
has developed the system at major stores and shopping malls. Consumers interact
with the machine through a transparent touch screen display that enables them to see
their drink freshly made. The customer then has the option to pay through biometric
or cashless purchase.

1.5 PURPOSE OF BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS PREPARATION
Second, BMC is clear and concise. It helps us document our start up journey
so we can easily modify it as we go along. The business model is a blueprint that
defines our business initially and we later expand on it. It is useful for easy
communication with our team, investors, partners as well as employees to come on
board with our vision.
Third, target customer needs. The biggest reason for startup failure is
“Product/Market fit” and not the product itself. Too often we forget this and direct our
energy on building an awesome product. “Build and they will come” is a dying
mantra. The business model canvas forces you to think beyond our product. When our
envision how we will sell our product, what type of resources we need as well the
different customers segments we can serve, the business becomes lucid. Documenting
it gives you the clarity when we talk to our customers.
Fourth, reduces the risk of failure. The BMC helps us with the execution
steps requirement to take our idea to market. Connecting the dots between our value
proposition + customer segments + revenue streams, is a good input to our marketing
strategy, positioning statement as well as our Sales strategy. We have edge over our
competitors who are immersed in the lengthy pages of the business plan.
