Plant room Ventilation requirments

1 Plant Room Temp. : Maximum 28 C

2 Humidity : 40%-50%

General Notes:

1 Pump room sizes are including the balancing tank.

2 Pump room location should be maximum 20 meter away from the pool.
3 Pump room should be in a level below the pool water level.
4 Pump room FFL should be minimum 1 meter below pool bottom level.
5 Power load in KW already includes the required load for the heating/cooling units.
6 Heat cool units should be placed in open space not more than 40 m Horizontal and 10 m vertically from the pump room, the area should have a gravity floor drain.
7 Drainage flow rates considering fully emptying the pool by gravity in 1 day (12 hours working time), except Main pool & Drop-off water feature to be drained in 3 days (36 hours working time).
8 Sump pits should be installed in all plant rooms located in the basement or landscape areas. However, for pump rooms situated on typical floors, elevated drains can be used as an alternative.
9 All pool electrical equipment including control panel should be connected to earthing bar and earthing network/pits as well.
10 For the typical pools, the given load is for single pool only.
11 The mentioned height is the required clear height, HVAC team should consider/add their own space.
12 Pump room space requirements has been calculated considering equipment installation, piping connections, daily maintenance access, future replacement of equipment, proper ventilation, and we also
consider the services from other trades (plumbing, HVAC, etc), space optimization can be verified according to final design information which will not exceed 10% minimization.
13 Chemical storage room should be as per Authority and operator requirements.
14 Chilled Water Supply & Return for pools is 6 C° & 14 C° respectively.
15 Ceiling Hock should be provided at the pump room for any future maintenance operation for the pool/Jacuzzi equipment.
16 Above inputs are preliminary and subject to changes based on the final design.
