YuviPep Next-Gen Founders Competition
YuviPep welcomes your school to inspire and guide students as they build, innovate and lead
with purpose. Next-Gen Founders is a national-level competition that invites students from
Grades 5 to 12 to step into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. It is designed to
spark creative thinking, encourage problem-solving, and build the confidence to turn ideas
into action.
The competition provides students with a genuine platform to identify problems that matter
to them, devise original solutions, and transform those ideas into functional prototypes.
Selected teams will present their work to experienced mentors, entrepreneurs, and industry
professionals who can guide them further.
Through this journey, students will not only gain exposure to how startups are built but also
develop important life skills—like critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and resilience.
Next-Gen Founders is where the next wave of ideas begins.
What Makes This Competition Special
Students will get a chance to:
• Learn how to turn an idea into a working model or prototype.
• Build skills in innovation, design, and problem-solving.
• Receive online mentorship and structured guidance throughout the process.
• Gain real exposure to how startups work and how businesses are built from the ground
up.
• Connect with experienced entrepreneurs, mentors and investors who can help take their
ideas forward.
Be part of the YuviPep Young Founders Network, which offers future opportunities even
after the competition ends. To inspire the participants, we remind them that many of India’s
most successful startups, such as RedBus, Ola, and Zerodha, were founded by individuals who
once sat in school classrooms with simple yet powerful ideas. This could be the first step
towards such a journey.
Themes to Choose From
Students can build their ideas around themes that matter to the world today. Some of the
suggested themes include:
• EdTech: Reinvent how the world learns
• Tech for Good: Build tech that makes a difference
• Health & Wellness: Create a healthier world
• Smart Cities: Design the cities of the future
• Sustainable Solutions: Innovate for a greener tomorrow
These themes are broad enough to let students explore topics they care about, yet focused
enough to ensure relevance and impact.
