The prospective delivery team produces the pre-appointment BIM execution plan (pre-

BEP) at the tender stage in response to the invitation to tender. It should outline the delivery
methodology that the delivery team intends to implement to meet the information
requirements. This section should contain the minimum content the client party
expects to receive in response to the exchange information requirements (EIR).

 EIR is an essential document and part of contractual documents, it must be


presented during all project stages and during the involvement of any involved
party to regulate the information exchange process
