1. General Condition
☐ Check for any visible damage (cracks, dents, wear).
☐ Ensure no missing or loose parts (fasteners, handles).
☐ Ensure the riveter is free of rust or corrosion.
☐ Verify that all labels and markings are intact and legible.

2. Hydraulic System
☐ Inspect hydraulic hose for leaks, cracks, or wear.
☐ Check fluid level in the hydraulic reservoir (if applicable).
☐ Test for smooth operation of hydraulic action (no jerks or delays).
☐ Ensure the hydraulic pressure gauge (if equipped) is functional and accurate.

3. Jaw Assembly
☐ Inspect the jaws for wear or damage.
☐ Check that the jaws grip rivets firmly and release them properly after installation.
☐ Verify the jaw housing is clean and free of debris.

4. Trigger and Handle


☐ Check the trigger for smooth operation (no sticking or stiffness).

6. Rivet Functionality
