SYNOPSIS OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECT
Title Of Project :- ENGISCOPE
Subtitle :- Compass of your engineering journey
Aim :- Help the community of engineering students(preferably FE and SE students)
choose a career path of their interest
Objective :- Build a website (named Engiscope) that has a survey which helps you to
choose your domain by answering simple MCQ (4-5) questions and get domain
recommendations. Each domain tile contains detailed info ( PDF, research paper,
video and roadmap) .
Outcome :- Improved clarity about the various domains available (knowldege of
lesser known and newer domains) , Helps in choosing better career path aligned with
your interest .
Plan Of Execution :-
Week 1 to Week 4 (14 July - 9 Aug) :- Idea Storming and Learning Roadmap
W1 :- (14 -20 July) - Idea Storming included 3 ideas( Bank Saheli AI , Real-time
Soil Monitoring System, EngiScope) . Finalized EngiScope after considering the
techstack, skilss and hardware required for each one of them. EngiScope- it is an
interactive web platform that helps engg students understand various technical
domains (like AI,Iot, Embedded cloud) through visual content real world
applications and self-assessment quiz. It also offers personalized career roadmaps
and ai assistant for real time guidance . Discussed the TechStack required ,
enrolled in courses to start learning from the next week ( planned to learn basic
in 3 weeks ).
W2 :- (21-27 July) - goal was to learn HTML and CSS for the frontend portion of
website. For HTML enrolled in GreatLearning HTML Tutorial (9 hrs) . For CSS
enrolled in GreatLearning CSS Tutorial (2 hrs). planned to complete Python review
course side by side in these 3 weeks, enrolled in codecademy Learn Python course
(23 hrs).
W3 :- (28 July-3 Aug) - goal was to learn Javascript and React.js . For Javascript
enrolled in GreatLearning Java Projects + Java DS for begineers+ Java basic
programs (5hrs). For react.js enrolled in Udemy Reactt the complete guide 2025 (36
hrs).
W4 :- ( 4-10 Aug)- goal was to learn Tailwind and figure the AI chatbot. For
chatbot planned to host it locally using LLama via Ollama , and database
SQLite( for storing quiz results , user preferences , roadmap data ). For Tailwind
learned from a youtube video Traversy Media Tailwind CSS Crash Course (1.30 hrs).
Week 5 to Week 8 (11 Aug - 8 Sep) :-Design Finalization and Content Research
W5 :- (11-17 Aug) - We designed the basic layout ,structure and functionalities of
our website. Take a personality and skill based quiz whose responses will be stored
and then processed via a rule based decision tree algorithm to recommend suitable
domain . View domain specific roadmap including programming languages tools ,
begineer project, salary and jobs availablity. Visually explore other engg domains
thru animated cards, real world project gallery and simplified tool introduction.
Interact with a buil-in AI assistant via OpenAPI to ask questions and get real-time
answers.
W6 :- (18-24 Aug) - referred to various research paper and pdfs available online
to gather necessary info about all the domains . Reviewed the content and
highlighted useful information . Arranged the information in pdf and created
roadmaps . Decided to do 7 domains . This week we researched and arranged the data
for AI/ML, Cyber Security and AR/VR.
W7 :-(25-31 Aug) - continued the research for domains Quantum Computing , Data
science, Blockchain development and Robotics.
W8 :-(1-8 Sep) - decided on the website colours and images to add ( to make it
visually stimulating). Researched on the job market available for each domain.
Week 9 to Week 12 (9 Sep-6 Oct) :- Creation of website
Place Of Cep ( community engaged) :- Engineering college students ( mostly FE and
SE) of bharati vidyapteeth college of engineering( demmed to be university ) and
Bharati vidhyapeeth's college of engineering for women . In future scalable to all
the Engineering colleges.
