Guidelines for the Event
❖ Competitions are planned for the Science, S.Sc and IT Domain.
❖ Each domain includes a set of activities for Grades IV-XII.
Category-1: Classes IV-V
Category-2: Classes VI-VIII
Category-3: Classes IX-XII
❖ Registration for all the activities is free of cost. Registration of schools must be done by 28
July 2025.
❖ Registered schools must fill in details of the participant students and teams in various events in
the link for event registration, Science, S.Sc., and ICT separately.
❖ One student can participate in one activity only.
❖ Competitions will be held offline only. Further details will be shared with registered schools by
the Event In-charges.
❖ It will be a two-day event beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, 7 August and Friday, 8 August
2025. Events will close at approx. 1:30 p.m. The Timelines to be followed religiously.
❖ The valedictory ceremony will be held on the same day as the competition.
❖ The information provided in the registration form must be correct in all respects. All the entries
must be in capital letters.
❖ Any inappropriate behaviour, offensive comments that could harm the interests of anyone or
make them feel uncomfortable are prohibited.
❖ Students should submit original work. Plagiarism is not allowed.
❖ The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
❖ Breach of any of these rules will result in disqualification from the competition.
❖ The activity in-charges can be contacted for any queries regarding the
submission of entries between 6:00-7:00 p.m.

SCIENCE EVENTS
Model-O-Magic
Objective:
Participants will design and present a working or static model of an invention or idea that supports
sustainable living, using scientific principles and creativity.
Event Format:
o Grades IV and V
o Team of 2 students
o Only one team per school
o Theme: Sustainable Solutions for the Future
o The model must align with one of the following sub-themes:
“Save Water, Secure Future”
Green Energy, Clean Planet”
“Smart Living, Sustainable Future”
o Teams may name their invention and write a tagline or short slogan (e.g., “EcoCooler – Cool
the Room, Not the Planet!”)
o 90 minutes for building/setup
o 10 minutes for model explanation to judges
o Models may be working or static.
o Display a concept card beside the model with:
Model name, Sub-theme, Materials used
o Scientific principle
o All materials must be brought by the participants.
o Only eco-friendly or recycled materials to be used wherever possible.
o Participants must explain the scientific principle behind their innovation.

Innovative Model/Experiment Presentation

▪ Objective:
The event is planned to encourage scientific thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.

▪ Event Format:

o Grades: VI-VIII
o Themes: Renewable Energy Models
Smart Farming & Agri-Tech
Waste to Wealth: Recycling Projects
o Each school will be represented by a team of 2–4 students of the same category and one
mentor, a Science teacher.
o The project may be a working model, experiment based.
o Schools may choose any one theme from the suggested ones given below.
o Each team gets 10 minutes for the presentation.
o Medium: English or bilingual (as per participant comfort).
o The team project may be-
• an investigation-based study
• application of basic principles of Science and Technology
• a novel solution/indigenous design to a problem/challenge
o Care should be taken to use eco-friendly materials in the preparation of exhibits.

SOCIAL SCIENCE EVENT
Poster Making Competition
▪ Objective
To encourage creative expression and artistic skill, while also fostering awareness and understanding
of a specific theme or issue
▪ Event Format
o Grade 6 to Grade 8 only.
o Theme: (1) “My Dream for India @100
(2) Unity in Diversity: Strength of Our Nation”
o Competition Type: Individual
Each school sends 3 individual participants, one from each class.
o Size of Poster: A3 (29.7 cm × 42 cm)
o Orientation: Portrait or landscape allowed.
o Materials Allowed: Crayons, coloured pencils, sketch pens, watercolours, oil pastels,
or mixed media. (Digital prints, stencils, tracing, collage, or pre-made images are not
allowed
o Time Allotted: 90 minutes (1.5 hours)
o Presentation Rules
• The poster should be made on the spot.
• Only the participant code/number (assigned at registration) must be
written on the front.
• No names, school names, or signatures on the front side.
o Language: If words or slogans are used, they must be in English or Hindi.
• Clarity and spelling will be evaluated.
o Disqualification Criteria
• Use of printed material, digital devices, or outside help.
• Deviating from the theme.
• Exceeding time limit.

IT EVENTS
EVENT 1: SCRIPT ‘N‘ SCRATCH “CODE YOUR TALE!”

Objective:
Participants will create an animated story or game in Scratch, based on a known fairy tale or moral
story, using basic programming concepts.
Event Format:

• Classes: 4 and 5
• Theme: Animate a fairy tale or Moral Story
• Team of 2 students
• Only one team per school.
• Time Duration
• 90 minutes for building
• 10 minutes for presentation to judges
• Create an animated video on “The Thirsty Crow” or “The Lion and the Mouse”.
• Ensure originality – Plagiarism or use of copyrighted content is strictly prohibited.
• Participants must carry their devices e.g. laptop

EVENT 2: MINECRAFT CREATIVE CHALLENGE
Objective:
Participants will create a themed build in Minecraft within a given time, demonstrating creativity,
teamwork, and understanding of digital environments.
Event Format:
• CLASSES: 6 TO 8
• THEME: Digital India
• Team of 2 students
• Only one team per school.
• SOFTWARE/PLATFORM: Minecraft Java Edition/ Minecraft Education Edition
• Time Duration
• 90 minutes for building
• 10 minutes for presentation to judges
• No external building tools/mods (like World Edit) allowed.
• Builds must be original - plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
• Internet use during the event is prohibited.
• Judging is based on creativity, theme relevance, use of space, and presentation.
• All team members must contribute; teamwork will be evaluated.
• Participants must submit a brief explanation or give a verbal walk-through to judges.
• Participants must carry their devices e.g. laptop.

SOCIAL SCIENCE EVENTS
1. Debate Competition
▪ Objective:
To foster critical thinking, communication, and persuasive skills through structured
argumentation and the exchange of ideas.
▪ Event Format
o Grade: IX-XII
o Theme: “Are We Truly Free in Independent India”?
o Each participating school is required to nominate one student— Either speak in favour of
the Motion, or against the Motion.
o Slot Reservation
Mode for both “For” and “Against” the motion will be confirmed once
registration is done.
• Students are advised to come thoroughly prepared in advance.
• Slots are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served
basis.
o Speaking Time:
• Opening Statement: 3 minutes
• Rebuttal/Counterarguments: 2 minutes
• Closing Statement: 1 minute
• Language: English
o Time Limit: Strictly followed; warning bell at 30 seconds remaining

2. Bulls & Bears
▪ Objective:
BULLS & BEARS competition is to maximize a virtual portfolio's value by the end of the
competition period.
▪ Event Format
o Grade: IX-XII
o Theme: BULLS & BEARS
o Team Composition
Team of 2 students
Only one team per school
o Description of the activity: Each school will be provided with virtual money of Rs.
50,000. With this given money, the teams will have to invest (or sell) in shares based
on the given news. The team with the largest amount at the end will be the winner.
o Rules & Regulations:
• Any kind of inappropriate behavior, offensive comments that could harm
the interests of anyone, or make them feel uncomfortable, are prohibited.
• The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
• Breach of any of these rules will result in disqualification from the
competition.
• The activity in charge can be contacted with any queries regarding the
submission of entries between 5:00-6:00 p.m.

IT EVENTS
Event 3: Web Wizardry: "Design A Web Page On Sustainable Living”

Objective

To promote creativity, coding skills, and awareness about sustainability by designing an informative
and visually appealing web page.

Event Format:

• Classes: 9 to 12
• Theme: Sustainable Living
• Team of 2 students
• Only one team per school (Students must highlight eco-friendly practices, clean energy, waste
management, etc.)
• Time Duration:
• Development Time: 90 Minutes
• Presentation Time: 5 minutes per team
• Tools Allowed:
o HTML, CSS (JavaScript optional)
o Editors: Notepad++, VS Code, Sublime Text

o No internet access (offline development only)
o Image resources must be brought on a pen drive beforehand
• Web page must be built from scratch – no templates allowed.
• Use of external frameworks (like Bootstrap) is not allowed.
• Content must be original and align with the theme.
• Teams must submit their files (.html, .css, and image folder) within the given time.
• Each team must present their design and explain the code and features.
• Participants must carry their devices e.g. laptop.

Objective

Solve real-world logic problems using Python programming.

Event Format:

• CLASSES: 9 TO 12
• Sample Topics (Difficulty Varies)
• Loops, conditions, and functions
• String and list manipulation
• File handling
• Simple algorithms (sorting/searching)
• Team of 2 students
• Only one team per school
• Python 3.x (IDLE, PyCharm) could be used.
• Time Duration: 90 Minutes
• Participants will be given 3 programming problems on the spot.
• Participants will be provided 90 minutes time to develop their Python code, and provide solutions.
• Use of only Python standard libraries.
• Internet access is not allowed during the challenge.
• Participants must write original code — plagiarism or copying leads to disqualification.
• Code should be well-indented and commented where necessary.
• Participants must carry their devices e.g. laptop.

Objective:
To foster students’ creativity and technical skills in video production while spreading awareness
about the positive impact of technology.

Event Format:

• Classes: 9 to 12
• Activity Title:
o "Create a Short Video on the Theme: ‘Tech for Good’"
• Theme Options (Choose One):
o Tech for Social Impact
o Digital India
o Cyber Safety
o Artificial Intelligence in Everyday Life
o Green Technology
• Team of 2 students
• Only one team per school
• Participant has to carry all the items related to the video in their devices; no internet will be
provided on the event day.
• Development time for the video: 90 Minutes
• Video Duration: 2 to 3 minutes max
• Event Day: Presentation & Judging (each team gets 5 minutes)
• Tools Allowed:
o Any video editing software (e.g., Clipchamp, iMovie, Filmora, Adobe Premiere Pro,
InShot)
o Use of copyright-free music, images, and videos is encouraged
o All footage must be original or properly credited.
• Videos must align with the chosen theme.
• Must be submitted in MP4 format on a pen drive or via Google Drive link on the event day.
• Use of abusive language, violence, or copyrighted content without permission will lead to
disqualification.
• Subtitles are encouraged if dialogues are present.
• Team must present their video and briefly explain the idea and editing techniques used.
• Participants must carry their devices e.g. laptop.
