4th Dimension
There are three basic dimensions: length, width and height. But then there are
others that aren't so well known but are also very important, like the fourth
dimension. We use the fourth dimension to talk about time. With the first three
dimensions, you can say where you are, but with the fourth, you can say when.
In physics, it's used to describe the space-time relationship.
But this dimension is also talked about in other areas like geometry. After
doing some research, we can explain it as an extra dimension that we can’t see
because we live in 3D. One example that’s often used is the “tesseract”, which is
a kind of cube inside another cube.
Even if we don’t see it directly, the fourth dimension is present in many things.
For example, it’s also used in science fiction movies, sometimes to talk about
time travel or parallel universes. Even though they’re not real, many times
they’re based on scientific hypotheses.
Also, this dimension helps us understand phenomens like black holes, gravity,
and how the universe expands. Thinking about less-known dimensions helps us
wonder what other things we might not be able to see.
And even though we can’t see that fourth dimension with our eyes, science and
mathematics try to represent it in ways that help us get an idea.
