2- Course Aim
A course on 19th century (Romantic and Victorian Poetry). The course illustrates
the cultural context within which these two types of poetry emerged. Students are
familiarized with the famous poets, their literary works, their ideas, themes,
techniques and impact in their ages.
3- Intended Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

poem (paraphrase, theme, form, kind, language and
