PRODUCT DESCRIPTION C-Thane S610 Sat is an aliphatic polyurethane enamel. Its main properties are:

• Satin aspect.
• Excellent colour and brightness retention.
• Excellent resistance to weathering and UV.
• Good chemical resistance.
• Good antigraffiti properties (nº of cleanings:3)
• Good water resistance.
• Hard and resistant to impact and abrasion.
• Easily cleaning.
• Colours available on “Industrial Colour System” (ICS).

INTENDED USES Recommended for applications over steel or concrete in maritime and industrial chemically
aggressive environments, such as bridges, chemical plants, refineries, off-shore platforms, tanks,
paper and cellulose industries, etc. It is recommended for anticorrosive protection systems with
primer or intermediate epoxies, when a satin topcoat is required.

Dry to touch: 4 hours
Through dry: Máx: 12 – 16 hours
Recoat: Min: 18 hours – Max: unlimited

Drying times are dependent on temperature, ventilation and

film thickness

PAINT SYSTEMS Steel – C-Thane S610 sat. is generally applied over primers epoxi as Aralcin Primer ZP980, C-
Pox Primer ZP150 or over intermediates as Aralcin HB Miox or C-Pox S140 Miox FD.
New concrete surfaces – C-Thane S610 sat must be applied over C-Floor E120.

SURFACE PREPARATION Coating performance, in general, is proportional to the degree of surface preparation. Refer to
application instructions for specific primers and intermediate coats being used for application and
curing procedures. All previous coats must be clean and dry. Adhere to all minimum and
maximum topcoat times for specific primers and intermediate coats.

APLICATION Add cure to resin solution and stir material for 5 minutes. In confined areas ventilate with clean
air Turing application and drying until solvents are removed.

CETIFICATES

HEALTH, SAFETY AND THE Protect the eyes and skin from contact, gloves, goggles and appropriate clothing should be worn.
ENVIRONMENT Keep out of the reach of children. Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not empty into drains.
Keep the container properly sealed and stored in the correct place. Take correct measures when
transporting the product so as to avoid any accidents that could rupture the can or cause
damage to the packaging. Ensure that the container is correctly stacked in a safe area. Do not
store or use the product in extreme temperature conditions. Always take account of the
appropriate legislation relating to the environmental and Health and Safety at Work.
