NOTICE

1. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating for rally.
2. Certificates with overwriting/ tempering will not be accepted.
3. Candidates appear in the recruitment rally at their own risk. No compensation for Death/ Injury/ Loss etc is admissible.
4. Do not use performance enhancing drugs during physical tests. Drug test will be conducted during recruitment rally. Candidates
having found to have used the same will be debarred from further screening.
5. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of
palm/ back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable.
6. Mobile Phones are not permitted in the rally site (except adaptability test).
7. Recruitment into the Army is a free service. Candidates are advised not to pay bribe to anyone for recruitment as selection is purely
on merit.
8. Do not waste your money on touts. Recruiting process has been computerised and touts cannot do anything. Have faith in your
transparent and purely based on merit.
9. Giving/ taking bribe, production of bogus/ fake certificates and indulging in unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for
punishment under law.
10. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical examination before coming for selection especially with respect to
flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned
by a doctor prior to the rally.
11. Kindly also carry rain coat to cater for rains during Monsoon.
12. Certificates of Bonus Marks. All original certificates/ photocopies duly attested pertaining to Bonus marks/ Relaxation will be accepted
only during the Rally. No certificates to include NCC Certificates, Relationship Certificates, ‘O’ level (IT) Course (DOEACC), ITI Course
certificate for Agniveer (Technical) any other certificates to claim Bonus Marks/ Relaxation would be accepted after termination of the
Rally.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. The selection of candidates will be carried out for following categories as per qualitative
requirement :-

2. Date of Birth. Candidate born between 01 October 2004 to 01 April 2008 (both
days inclusive) are eligible to participate.

6.8. Maximum bonus marks that can be given is 25 marks even if a candidate qualifies
for more than one type of bonus marks except Agniveer (Technical).

Note:-
1. The above marks are fixed depending upon the eligibility of a candidate and has
no relation to his performance in Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

2. Only one type of Bonus Marks (Max of the permissible) will be added to the total.

3. Bonus marks will be accorded on qualifying in the written examination.

4. Only two wards (two sons/two daughters/one son & one daughter) of
Service/Ex-Servicemen/War Widow/Widow of Ex-servicemen can avail bonus marks
in written examination.

5. Original Certificate to be carried by all above categories at rally site.

6. Sports Certificate are valid for two years from the issue date as on first day of
the recruitment rally for which the candidate is being screened.

7. In case a candidate is found to have made fake claims at any stage or furnished
fake certificate to unfairly secure Bonus Marks, his candidature is liable to be
cancelled at any stage of recruitment

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

7. Agniveer will be enrolled in the Indian Army under Indian Army Act 1950 for a period of
four years. Agniveer would form a distinct rank in the Indian Army, different from any other
existing ranks. Indian Army is no obliged to retain Agniveer beyond the engagement period of
four years.

8. On completion of four years of service, based on origanisation’s requirements and

policies promulgated by the Indian Army, Agniveer will be offered an opportunity to apply for
permanent enrolment in the Indian Army. These applications will be considered in a
centralized manner based on objective criteria including performances during their four year
engagement period and upto 25% of each specific batch of Agniveer will be enrolled in regular
cadre of Indian Army. Agniveer will not have any right to be selected for further
enrolment into the Indian Army. Selection of the Agniveer for further enrolment, if any,
shall be at the discretion of the Indian Army.

9. Employability. Agniveer enrolled under this entry are liable to be assigned any duty
in origanisational interest, at the discretion of the Indian Army.

10. Training. On being enrolled, Agniveer will be imparted military training based on
Indian Army requirement.

11. Leave. Grant of leave will be subject to exigencies of Indian Army. The following
leave may be applicable for Agniveer during their engagement period:-

11.1. Annual Leave - 30 days per year.

11.2. Sick Leave - Base on medical advice.

12. Medical and CSD Facilities. For the duration of their engagement period in Indian
Army, Agniveer will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD
provisions.

13. Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits. Agniveer enrolled under this scheme will be
paid an Agniveer package with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship
allowances (as applicable in Indian Army), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.

14. Terminal Benefits - Seva Nidhi Package. Agniveer will be given onetime ‘Seva
Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the
Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below :-

NOTE 1. Agniveers will not be required to contribute to any Provident Fund of the
Government.

NOTE 2. There shall be no entitlement to any gratuity and any kind of pensionary
benefits in case of Agniveers.

15. Insurance, Death and Disability Compensation. Agniveers will be provided non-
contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as
Agniveer in the Indian Army. Agniveer will not be governed by provisions contained in the
Pension Regulations / Rules for Indian Army.

16. Agniveer Skill Certificate. At the end of engagement period, a detailed Skill-Set
Certificate will be provided to the Agniveer highlighting the skills and level of competency
acquired by the personnel during their engagement period.

17. Personnel enrolled under this Scheme will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen Status.

18. Only unmarried candidates will be eligible for enrolment as Agniveers and they must
undertake not to marry during the defined engagement period of four years. Agniveers who
marry during the said period would be released from service. Further, only unmarried
Agniveer will be eligible for re-enrolment in regular cadre as Sepoy/ equivalent on selection as
currently in vogue.

19. UHQ Recruitment Rally under Agnipath scheme will be held at “Headquarter
Armoured Centre & School” from 04 Aug 2025 to 12 Aug 2025.

Physical Measurement (At Rally Site). Physical measurement will be carried out
as per the Physical standards.
Adaptability Test (At Rally Site)
Adaptability Test will be conducted for selection of candidates who can adapt the
environment of the Indian Army and are able to adapt the challenges of military life.
The same will be carried out post PFT and PMT. Those candidates who will qualify
the Adaptability Test will be eligible for medical and further recruitment process.
Note:- Candidates will be allowed to carry their Smart Phone for the duration of
Adaptability Test.
Typing Test (At Rally Site).
Typing Test for Agniveer Clerk/ SKT cat will be conducted at rally site to check the
speed and accuracy of the candidates with reference to typing skills. The same will
be carried out post PFT and PMT.
Medical Examination.

1. As per laid down medical standards at the Rally site.

2. Unfit candidates will be referred to MH for specialist review. Candidates to
report to designated Military Hospital within 5 days from referral and review medical
exam to be completed at Military Hospital within 14 days as per policy.

Written Test Through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

1. Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Venue and
time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards.
2. Admit card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site
itself.
3. Admit Cards for the CEE for the Review Fit cases will be issued after getting
medically fit by concerned specialist/ specialist at MH.

21. The current enrolment will be conducted as per Recruitment Directive for Recruitment of
JCOs/OR 2014 & AREP 2017 issued by IHQ of MoD (Army).

22. Age Variation. If any variation beyond 366 days in date of birth between civ edn
qualification certs and relationship cert of the candidate of Serving/Ex-servicemen is found, the
same will be treated as major variation. Thus, no candidates will be entertained in UHQ
enrolment process whose date of birth has more than a 366 days variation. Documents
checking Board of Officer will ensure the same. In this connection, pl ref IHQ MoD (Army)
letter No 62554/Rtg-5(OR)(A) dt 29 Aug 06. Copy fwd vide this HQ letter No 1038/1/A-4 dt
09 Sep 06. If a candidate is affected in a leap yr, the variation of 367 days between edn cert
and service document will be accepted as per IHQ of MoD (Army) sig No 62554/RTG 5 (OR) (A)
dt 05 Jan 12 and letter of even No dt 25 Jan 10.

23. Policy on Permt Body Tattoos. It has been cleared by IHQ of MoD (Army) vide letter
No 62508/Rtg 5 (OR) (A) dt 23 Nov 12 that from 01 Jan 2013 onwards ‘permanent body tattoos
are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the
reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of
the body are not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection. Tribes with
tattoo marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and traditions will be permitted on
a case to case basis’.

24. Verification of Relationship Certificate. Relation certificates, NCC certificates and

Sports certificates will be verified from issuing authority prior to the conduct of CEE. The
Presiding Officer will coord with concern authority and ensure timely verification of all
document prior to the CEE.

25. Relationship Certificates. As per Dir Rtg B (A) IHQ of MoD (Army) letter No
62536/Rtg B (A) dt 08 Jul 2025 following clarification regarding applicable benefits are as
under:-

25.1. Two wards (two sons/two daughters/one son & one daughter) of servicemen/
Ex-servicemen/war widows/widows can get 20 bonus marks based on his father’s
relationship certificate.

25.2. No bonus mark or physical dispensation benefit is applicable on a brother’s

relationship certificate. A brother’s relationship cert can be used for enrolling only one
brother through a UHQ rally. A serving personnel can get the benefit of relationship
certificate enrolment of his brother, only on being attested. In this regard ref MP-8 policy
letter No A/20182/39/MP-8 (I of R) (A#) dt 25 Jun 2020.

26. Candidates are required to bring following documents/ certificates in original with two
attested photocopies with them to the rally site:-

26.1. Photograph. Twenty (20) copies of unattested Passport size color photographs
developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than
three months old. Computerized/ photocopied/ shopped photographs will NOT be
accepted. Photographs must be with proper hair cut and clean shave (except Sikh
Candidates) as the same is required also for medical examination.

26.2. Education Certificates.

26.2.1. Education Certificates with marks sheet of all educational qualification

achieved by candidate i.e Metric / Intermediate etc from recognized school /
College/ Board/ University.

26.2.2. Provisional/ Online education certificate should be certified ink signed by

the head of the educational institution of concerned Board/ University.

26.2.3. Candidates with Metric certificate from Open School should bring School
Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.

26.2.4. Candidates having 10th/12th class mark sheet with only ‘Pass’ mentioned
in each subject without any aggregate marks being mentioned from Education
Boards issued for Exam(s) held in COVID-19 pandemic affected year(s) will be
eligible for enrolment in desired categories. Aggregate marks only for such
candidates will be dispensed with.

26.2.5. List of Education Board recognized by State Governments/UT

administrations attach as per Appendix A will only be accepted.

26.3. For 8th Class Pass Candidates. 8th class pass mark sheet and transfer
certificate issued by school (both certificate) should be countersigned by District
Inspector of School/ District Education Officer. In case the candidate fails to reproduce
the document, he will not be allowed to participate in the rally on the ground of being in
possession of Higher Education Certificate i.e Class 10 th Mark Sheet. Candidates who
have applied for post of Agniveer Tradesmen (Class 8 th) will be allowed to take part in
the rally, only for the category applied for and will not be allowed to change their
candidature to the Agniveer Tradesmen (Class 10th) category.

26.4. Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/

District Magistrate.

26.5. Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the candidate
issued by the Tehsildar/ District Magistrate.

26.6. Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar / SDM (If
religion as “SIKH/ HINDU/ MUSLIM/ CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).

26.7. School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the

School/ College Principal/ Headmaster where the candidate last studied.

26.8. Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photographs issued by village

Sarpanch/ Municipal corporation within last six months from the date of despatch.

26.9. Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for all candidates to be obtained

with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six
months.

26.10. Relationship Certificate. SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW Candidates are required to

produce the following documents: -
26.10.1. Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only
duly signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular
of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/ stamp is
endorsed. Relationship certificate should bear water marks of the concern
Records.

26.10.2. A declaration to the effect as mentioned in Affidavit on Ten Rupees

Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the Ex-Serviceman duly signed by 1st
Class/ Executive/Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at
rally site. Format of affidavit is attached as per Appendix ‘B’.

26.10.3. Original Discharge Book of Ex-Servicemen also to be produced.

Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

26.11. NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C Certificate and Republic Day Parade certificate
should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional
NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned
NCC Group Commanders. No bonus marks are to be allotted unless the certificate
(Relationship/Sports/NCC) have been verified. An undertaking to the effect will be
obtain from the candidate. Provisional certificates are accepted only during the
notified rally duration neither earlier nor later.

26.12. Sports Certificates. As per the guidance issued vide this HQ letter No
1822/Enrol-Pol/A-4/2024 dt 27 Jun 25 and units can only dispatch 15 sports quota
sponsor candidates and ensure that the candidates are screened properly in the
following:-

26.12.1. Sportsmen who have represented India at international level and

State at National level within the last two years (for list of sports under which
relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to
www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website).

26.12.2. Sportsmen who have represented District at State level and University
team at Interuniversity Championship within last two years (Sports Certificate
should be with registration number and from government recognized sport
institutes/ bodies).

26.12.3. Before sponsoring the candidates, a separate board proceedings will be

prepared by units/ formation after conducting all the relevant tests including
medical at unit level, giving out the names of candidates who are recommended by
the board for UHQ enrolment duly countersigned by the Comdt and board
proceeding alongwith sponsor certificate in respect of selected sportsmen will be
forwarded by hand or produced the same to presiding officer during sports
candidates selection board at the rally site and the same will be ensure by the
presiding officer. Documents forwarded through AIGMA will not be accepted
and No piece meal board proceedings will be entertained.

26.12.4. Sponsoring units to verify sports certs (specifying and quoting auth of
Distt/State/National/International) being produced by candidates. Units will be held
resp for correctness of cert to avoid any fraudulent enrolment. All candidates
desirous to get enrolled through UHQ enrolment will submit a cert stating that
“PRODUCING FAKE DOCUMENTS AND GIVING FALSE INFO WILL LIABLE
THEM FOR TERMINATING OF THEIR SERVICE INSPITE OF ANY NUMBER OF
YEARS THEY RENDER” (Auth : IHQ of MoD (Army) letter No 64715/Gent/Rtg B
(E) dt 12 Feb 14).

26.13. Certificate of Bonus Marks. All original certificates/ photocopies duly attested
pertaining to Bonus marks will be accepted only during the Rally. No certificates to
include NCC Certificates, Sports Certificates, Relationship Certificates, ‘O’ level
(IT) Course (DOEACC), ITI Course Certificate or any other Certificates to claim
Bonus Marks/ Relaxation would be accepted after termination of the Rally.

26.14. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & AADHAR Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card &
Aadhar Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay &
allowances and other social benefits scheme.

26.15. Police Character Certificate.

26.16. Sarpanch/ Nagar Sewak (Residence Proof).

26.17. Affidavit. Duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as

per specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate at the Rally Site
without fail. Format of affidavit attached as per Appendix C. Submission of
Affidavit is Mandatory.

26.18. Discharge Book/ Part II order (for son of Ex-servicemen/son of servicemen).

26.19. Candidates will hand over/ deposit self-addressed envelopes duly quoted
with their permanent home address alongwith Mobile Number and affixed postal
stamp for Rs 27/- (Rupees Twenty Seven only) to the enrolling officer for mailing of
final call letter as registered post. This aspect will be checked during UHQ enrolment
process.

27. Instant Enrolment. Death/ Invalidated out of Service of an Army Personnel including
personnel from Territorial Army, Defence Security Corps and Rastriya Rifles in war or war like
situation in peace, in Counter Insurgency Operations or while providing aid to civil authorities.
The following are eligible for Instant Enrolment:-

27.1. Son. This implies the real Son/ legally adopted son of Army personnel. In case
the Son is born after the death of the Army personnel and Part II Order was not
published, the widow should submit and Affidavit from Class-I Judicial Magistrate and a
certificate from the Local Zila Sainik Board duly authenticating the birth of the Son.

27.2. Brother. The real brother of unmarried/ single Army personnel as per details
given in IAFF-958 or any other service document eg Sheet Roll.

28. Special Instructions. The following important information be read and strictly adhered
to by all aspirants:-

28.1. No guardian/escorts will be permitted to accompany the candidate during the

enrolment. Units are requested to please coop by not sending any guardian/escorts with
the candidates. Any escort/guardian found with the candidate, the candidate will be
debarred from appearing in UHQ Enrolment.

28.2. All candidates incl parents/guardians are advised to refrain from contacting
touts/agents.

28.3. No compensation for Death/Injury/loss etc during the rally and no travelling
allowance/dearness allowances for journey is admissible. Candidates will participate in
the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary. The
signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.

28.4. Enrolment is purely merit and priority basis depending upon the available vacancies.

28.5. Candidates will not use hi-tech communication device (blue tooth enabled) to
obtain answers from agencies locating outside the exam hall. Any violation by any
candidate, in this regard, apart from auto disqualification of his candidature and ban from
future screening would also invite legal prosecution. Police will call for disciplinary action
against the defaulter.

28.6. Wide publicity be given for maximum participation of wards of

SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW/ BOS and Sportsmen alongwith requisite documents
mentioned in Para 26 (a) to (s) above to report at The Armoured Corps Centre & School.

28.7. No accommodation will be provided to the candidates by this Centre, who

are appearing in the rally. Candidate will have to pre plan their arrangement for
boarding and lodging before reporting for rally. Schedule of recruitment rally being
conducted at this Headquarters is attached at Appendix D.

28.8. 01 October 2025 will be taken as effective date of determining age eligible for of
candidate. Candidates to produce birth certificate / 10th Class mark sheet at the time of
preliminary document check.

28.9. Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and DOB (Date of birth)
must be entered exactly as per Matriculation/ 10th Class Board Certificate.

28.10. Candidates are requested to report at rally site with proper shave and haircut so
as to ensure proper identification & Medical Review. Candidate should be clean
shaven (Except Sikh Candidate).

28.11. Candidate must enter contact details and permanent home address exactly as
per Domicile/Nativity/Permanent Residential Certificate issued by Sub Divisional
Magistrate / District Magistrate.

28.12. Recruitment is purely based on merit list depending on available vacancies.

Candidates do not have any right to claim recruitment in Army just for passing in
recruitment process.

28.13. Giving/taking bribe, production of bogus / fake certificates and indulging in

unfair means is a criminal offence and liable for punishment under law. Such candidates
will be handed over to Civil Police and their candidature cancelled.

28.14. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before
participating in the rally. Candidates found under age/overage and not meeting
education criteria will be disqualified.

28.15. Certificates with overwriting and tampering of seals or erasing / alteration of

any type will not be accepted.

28.16. Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before
coming for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and
physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by
getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally.

28.17. No use of contact lenses.

28.18. Footwear. 1.6 Kms Run may take place on Road/ Hard Surface due to
weather condition. All candidates are advised to use suitable running footwear (Shoes)
for 1.6 Km run and practice accordingly for the Rally.

28.19. All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government

agencies before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against
individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be
terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or gave
wrong information at the time of recruitment, despite the number of years of
service individual may have rendered.

29. ALL RIGHTS ARE RESERVED WITH THE COMMANDANT, ACC&S REGARDING
CANCELLATION OF CANDIDATURE AT ANY STAGE DURING THE ENTIRE SELECTION
PROCESS.

30. The terms and conditions given in the advertisement are guidelines only and orders
issued by the Government, as amended from time to time, will apply for the selected
candidates.

31. Indian Army reserves the right to cancel entire selection process at any stage
without assigning any reasons.

32. Candidates found indulging in any type of malpractices/unfair means during the
examination shall be debarred permanently.

33. The data entered during registration will be final and no changes will be permitted later.
Entry of wrong data will disqualify candidature.

34. UHQ recruitment is carried out purely on the PRIORITY system, candidates do not
have any right to claim recruitment in Army just for passing in recruitment process and all
available vacancies with respect to Agniveers being filled with as under:-
