Admission to Class XI (2025)
St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Bettiah is a Christian Minority Educational Institution
established and administered by Khrist Raja Education Association. This is a co-education
English Medium School affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
The Senior School Certificate Course offered here is conducted by the Central Board of
Secondary Education, Delhi and is a two year post-Secondary School Course which has been
recognized by all Indian Universities as equivalent to the Intermediate College Examination.
On completion of the course the candidates are eligible to begin the three year degree course in
the universities.
1. Since admission to Class XI is designed to be SELECTIVE in the Government’s Scheme
of education, students of Class X must apply for admission to class XI. The forms are to
be filled online and there will be no forms made available at the school office.
2. Invitation of applications for admission does not guarantee admission to St. Xavier’s
Higher Secondary School, since the number of applicants is expected to exceed the
available seats.
3. Application forms will be available online on the school website for three days from
the day CBSE declares class X results.
4. It is the responsibility of the parents/candidates to ensure that the details entered in the
application form are correct and the parents are advised not to depend on others to fill in
the application form.
5. The email address and mobile number entered in the application form should be of the
parent of the candidate and no other. In case incorrect email address and mobile number
are entered in the form and if there arises a problem in the process of admission, the
school will not accept any liability of it.
6. Kindly print the filled in application form (After paying the application fee online) and
submit it to the school office on the day of the entrance test along with a photocopy of
class X Board mark sheet.
7. Incomplete applications or applications with wrong information will not be considered
for the admission process.
8. The fee for each application form is Rs. 800/- (Eight Hundred Rupees Only). Application
form fee is non-refundable.
9. All the candidates are instructed not to make double/duplicate payments while paying
the application fee online. Neither the school nor the service providers will be
responsible for double or duplicate payment. There will be no refund for such
payments.
10.The payment for the application is to be done online. When you select the payment mode
as Debit/Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Wallet, you will be directed to the payment
gateway website for online payment. In case of any link break or network failure due to
which your application status is not updated but the payable amount has been debited
from your account, DO NOT TRY PAYING THE FEE AGAIN. Kindly do not make
double payment. Neither the school management nor the service provider takes any
liability for double or repeated payments.
11.If a student leaves the school during +2 studies, NONE of the fees paid by him/her will
be refunded.
12.No Mobile phone or electronic gadget is allowed within the school campus.
13.Regular attendance is a requirement for appearing for the class XII examination. Lack of
attendance will not be condoned.
14.School fees will be charged in two instalments and it should be paid online.
Combination of Subjects (+2)
1. English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics/Hindi.
2. English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics/Hindi.
3. English, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics/Hindi.
4. English, History, Economics, Sociology, Mathematics/Hindi.
5. Physical Education (Sixth Subject for all combinations).
15. To Apply for Science stream, a student requires a minimum of 80%, Commerce stream
70% and for Humanities /Arts 70% in the Board examination.
16. Subjects for the Entrance Test:
For Science Stream: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Maths.
For Commerce Stream: English, Economics and General Studies.
For Humanities /Arts Stream: English, Economics and General Studies.
17. The date for the entrance test will be informed after the declaration of class X result by
the CBSE, ICSE, etc.
18.The list of the selected students will be announced online on the school website. The
selection of students for class XI will be based on the performance in the Entrance test
and in the Board examination. The date for the same and the date of admission will be
announced on the day of the entrance test.
