✅ USA B1/B2 Visa Checklist (Visit Visa - Pakistan)

Purpose: Tourism / Family Visit / Business / Conferences / Events

📁 1. Application Documents

 ✅ Valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in the
U.S.)
 ✅ Old Passports (if available)
 ✅ DS-160 Confirmation Page (with barcode)
 ✅ Visa Appointment Confirmation Letter
 ✅ Visa Application (MRV) Fee Receipt

🖼 2. Photograph

 ✅ US Visa Photo (2x2 inch)


o White background
o Taken within the last 6 months
o No glasses, neutral expression

📄 3. Financial Proof

 ✅ Bank Statement – Last 6 Months (must show sufficient funds)


 ✅ Bank Account Maintenance Certificate
 ✅ Payslips – Last 3 Months (if employed)
 ✅ Tax Returns / FBR Certificate (if applicable)
 ✅ Sponsorship Letter & Documents (if someone is sponsoring your trip from Pakistan
or the USA)
💼 4. Employment / Study Proof

 ✅ Employment Letter (mentioning designation, salary, joining date, and approval for
leave)
 ✅ No Objection Certificate (NOC) (from employer or institute)
 ✅ Business Registration Certificate (if self-employed)
 ✅ University/College ID & Enrollment Letter (if student)

🌐 5. Travel Purpose Documents

Depending on your reason for visit, attach any of the following:

A. Tourism / Family Visit:

 Travel Itinerary / Plan


 Hotel Reservations (tentative)
 Invitation Letter from relative/friend (if visiting someone in the US)
 Sponsor’s Passport Copy, Visa, I-94, and Job Letter (if applicable)

B. Business / Conference / Summit:

 Invitation Letter from the organization


 Conference/Event Registration Receipt
 Event Schedule or Brochure
 Company Letter (detailing purpose of visit and who is funding the trip)

🏡 6. Ties to Home Country (Proof of Return Intent)

 Property Ownership Documents (if any)


 Family Details (spouse, children, dependents in Pakistan)
 Proof of ongoing job, business, or study
 Affidavit of Return Intent (optional)
✈ 7. Travel & Accommodation

 Tentative Return Flight Booking (do NOT pay unless visa is approved)
 Hotel Booking / Host’s Address in USA
 Travel Insurance (optional but advisable)

 CNIC Copy
 Nikah Nama / Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
 Old Visa Copies (Schengen, UK, UAE, Turkey, etc.)
 Police Character Certificate (optional)
