LESSON 2: ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS


I. Adjectives
An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun.
Examples:
• She has a big house.
• He is brave.
• The book is old.
1. Position of adjective
to be + adj The dinosaur is enormous.
adj + N I have a blue card.
linking verbs + adj You look tired.
smell, taste, sound, look, feel, become/ turn/ get, The food taste good.
