DHAHABU ARTS PRODUCTION WORKING CONTRACT

This Agreement is made on ________________, by and between Dhahabu Arts Production,


hereinafter referred to as "Company," and _____________________________, hereinafter referred to
as "Cast."

1. Position and Role

Position: Cast.

Description of Duties:

 Memorize lines and cues.

 Research and develop your character.

 Be present, punctual and prepared for scheduled rehearsals.

 Collaborate with fellow cast members.

 Properly wear and care for assigned costumes, and promptly report any damages.

 Handle props responsibly.

 Abide by all safety measures especially when performing stunts.

 Accept constructive criticism and suggestions from the creative team.

 Be prepared to step into another role if necessary. Be prepared to quickly adjust to any last
minute set changes.

 Preserve confidentiality.

 Act as an ambassador for the production, representing it positively both on and off the stage.

Cast agrees to perform all assigned duties to the best of their ability and in accordance with the
instructions provided by the Company.

2. Term of Employment

This contract shall begin on ________________and end on __________________ unless extended or


terminated as outlined herein.

3. Compensation

Rate of Pay: _________ per show, for a flat rate show and ____________ per show, for a grand show.
Payment Schedule: Payments will be made after every performance, unless otherwise stated prior the
performance.

Any additional compensation will be agreed upon separately and documented in writing.

4. Work Schedule

The cast is expected to be available for all rehearsals and performances as communicated by the
communication manager.

Any changes to the schedule must be approved in writing by both parties.

5. Performance Expectations

The cast agrees to:

a. Arrive on time for all scheduled rehearsals, and performances.

b. Perform assigned duties in a professional, competent, and cooperative manner.

c. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the Company.

6. Conduct and Behavior

The cast shall adhere to the Company's code of conduct, which includes:

a. Respecting all coworkers, cast, crew, and audience members.

b. Refraining from disruptive or unprofessional behavior.

c. Maintaining confidentiality regarding the Company's business, productions, and proprietary


information.

7. Property and Equipment

Any equipment, costumes, or tools provided by the Company must be used responsibly and returned
in good condition.

The cast may be held liable for damages caused by negligence.

8. Termination of Contract

By the Company: This contract may be terminated immediately for cause, including but not limited to:

a. Failure to perform duties as outlined.

b. Violation of Company policies.

c. Misconduct or unprofessional behavior.


By the Cast: The Cast member may terminate this agreement with written notice of at least 30 days.

Upon termination, the Worker must return all Company property and settle any outstanding matters.

9. Intellectual Property and Media Release

The Company retains ownership of all intellectual property created during the Worker’s engagement,
including scripts, designs, recordings, and promotional materials.

The cast agrees that the Company may use their likeness (photos, videos, etc.) for promotional
purposes.

10. Liability and Indemnification

The Cast agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless for any claims or liabilities resulting
from their actions outside the scope of assigned duties.

The Company will provide a safe working environment and is not liable for injuries resulting from
negligence by the Worker.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this contract will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in the
jurisdiction of Kenya.

12. Entire Agreement

This contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any modifications must be made
in writing and signed by both parties.
