Course Objective:

● To understand the background of intrinsic and extrinsic materials.


● To understand the effect of temperature on the various properties of Semiconductor materials.
● To familiarize the students with characteristics and applications of solid state devices like BJT,
MOSFET etc. and study their parameters.
● Analysis of BJT and MOFET amplifiers with parasitic, coupling and bypass capacitors and understand
the effect of capacitances in its frequency response.
