MMS Semester-III
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT REPORT
The MMS students doing internship at GNIMS are required to submit the Summer Project Report
as per the guidelines mentioned below:
(a) Summer internship forms an integral part of the MMS program. The course will remain
incomplete without completion of the project as per the guidelines.

(b) The first mandatory interaction with the respective project guide regarding the projects should
be completed on or before Sunday, 25th May, 2025. The student should get the best possible
clarity on the approach towards the project work to be done during this interaction.

(c) The project work should start with preparation of the Project Synopsis (format given). The
synopsis approval should be completed on or before Sunday, 15th June, 2025. The duly
signed and approved copy of the project synopsis (hard and soft copy) needs to be
submitted to the Project Co-ordinators on or before Sunday, 22nd June, 2025. Once the
synopsis is approved by the Project Guide the students can proceed with the project work.
Project Guide will have to be continuously updated about the progress made by the student in
the project.
(d) Students will have to submit the first draft of the project to the Project Guide on or before
Monday 11th August, 2025. This draft can be a soft copy as decided by the Project Guide.
(e) The respective Project Guide will go through the draft copy and suggest if any further changes
are required. The student has to make the relevant changes and get the changes re-approved.

(g) Upon approval for the draft copy the student can proceed for the black-binded copy of the
project with golden embossing.

(h) The black-binded project copy with golden embossing has to be submitted to the concerned
Project Guide on or before Monday 18th August, 2025. No extension would be provided
for the same.

(i) The guide will grade the project and forward it for further evaluations. Only if the guide
approves the project it would be considered for viva evaluations.

(j) The students have to submit their Summer Project PowerPoint Presentations (as per the given
template) to the Project Guide also by Monday 18th August, 2025. No extension would be
provided for the same.
(k) The respective Project Guide will review the presentations and suggest if any changes are
required.

(l) All the approved projects and presentations will have a Pre-Viva Presentation Evaluation
by the internal faculty members, the dates for which will be announced later.

(m) The project guide will evaluate the project for 60 marks and forward it for further evaluations
of 40 marks. Only if the project guide approves the project it would be considered for
viva evaluations.

(n) All the approved projects will have their Viva Presentation Evaluations from Corporate
Panelists, the dates for which will be announced later.

(o) During the viva each student will be given a total of 10 minutes to make a power point
presentation of their projects followed by questions & answers on the same. Both the projects
combined will be evaluated on the following parameters:

(p) In each of the following cases the panelists/guides reserve the right to give marks whatever
they feel is deserved by the student:
Cases of students who are not formally dressed for the viva, who have not done genuine work,
who carry a casual attitude, who have not adhered to deadlines and prescribed format, do not
have any knowledge about the topic etc.

(q) The best project & presentations made by students in their respective specializations chosen
by the project guide and corporate panelists will be shortlisted for ‘Best Summer Internship
Project Award.’
