LANE CLOSURES
FOR
MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENT
PAVING WORKS
MONDAY, AUGUST 111H , 2025 THROUGH FRIDAY, AUGUST 291H , 2025
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that
sequential lane closures will commence on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish and into Flatts
Village starting Monday, August 11th , 2025, through Friday, August 29th , 2025.
The lane closures will allow for sequential milling and paving works to take place on North
Shore Road from Bethel Church and will continue through Flatts village.
Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Traffic control will be under the direction of Ministry of Public Works representatives with
barricades, stop-and-go signs, and cones.
Motorists are advised to avoid this route by using detour routes via Harrington Sound Road
and Middle Road, Smiths.
Motorists who traverse this route should expect delays and must travel with care.
The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and
apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
