A Detailed Lesson Plan About Counting and Recognizing Numbers One
up to One Hundred in Mathematics (Grade 1)
I. OBJECTIVES
A. CONTENT The learners should have knowledge and understanding
STANDARD of whole numbers up to 100.
B. PERFORMANCE By the end of the quarter, the learners are able to count,
STANDARD recognize and represent whole numbers up to 100.
C. LEARNING The learners count up to 100 (includes counting up or
COMPETENCY down from a given number and identifying a number that
is 1 more or 1 less than a given number).
D. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of 45 minutes discussion the grade 1 pupils will be able to:
1. Cognitive Domain identify numbers from one to one hundred with at least
90 percent accuracy using flash cards during the
discussion;
2. Psychomotor accurately write numbers and color numbers from one to
Domain one hundred on their worksheet using correct number
formation; and
3. Affective Domain correctly identify at least two ways counting is used in
their daily lives.
