1. In accordance with DepEd's IRR of RA 10533, schools are mandated to guide
students in selecting career tracks aligned with their interests and abilities. This
is carried out through integrated career guidance programs, including
curriculum-based career concepts, assessments, advocacy activities, counselor
development, and the establishment of career advocacy offices with appropriate
support materials.
2. Relative to this, the Learner F`ormation Division will conduct Ivurti.ririg Dreams
to Careers on the RIght Path: Strengtherting the Ca:rear ®ulda;nee mogram
!n the Schools D!tlts!on o/Zamha!es on August 16, 2025 (Saturday) at Bishop
Henry Byme Pastoral Center, Iba, Zambales.
3. The activity aims to:
a. assist the school Guidance Designates on the supervision and
implementation of the DepEd Career Guidance Program;
b. strengthen the academic, social, emotional, and career development of
the le-ers; and
c. develop a Career Guidance Development Plan for the School Year 2025-
2026.
4. Participants are advised to bring their own laptops, chargers, extension cords and
other source of Internet connectivity (mobile date, pocket Wi-Fi, and etc.)
5. The training covers weekend therefore, teaching and non-teaching participants
shall be granted Compensatory Time-off (CTO) or Service Credits in accordance
with DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003, Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation
Service Credits to teachers, and CSC-DBM Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2015, Policies
and Guidelines on Overtime Service and Overtime Pay for Government Employees.

7. AIl expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be charged to available
funds while travel expenses of participants shall be charged to School M00E
subject to the usual government accounting and auditing rules.
