Description: This task is worth 80 points maximum. The time period to complete the task is 30 minutes. Each
team member will work individually to complete an open-book knowledge exam covering Title 14 CFR Parts 1,
39, 43, 65 Subpart A,D,E, and 91 Subpart A, C, E. Each exam will be scored separately and then all 4 team
member exam scores added together to form a total team score.

1 OBJECTIVE: Given an FAA FAR-AMT book containing the code of federal regulations,
perform an open-book knowledge exam with zero assistance from non-team
members.

EVALUATION CRITERIA: Each team will be evaluated on the following skills, abilities,
and utcomes:
(1) Open-book knowledge exam of each team member's knowledge of code of
egulations applicable to aviation maintenance
(2) Total team score is the sum of all team member knowledge exam scores

PROCEDURES:
Complete open-book knowledge exam without assistance from other team
members or outside observers.

Submit completed exam to judge for scoring.

worth 2 points as follows: 1 point for the correct answer, and 1 point for the correct CFR reference.
