Welcome to our
A2Z Vocabulary
Booklet series!
Vocabulary is a constant source of worry
and challenge. There has not been a one-
stop solution for it yet.
To solve this, the entire booklet has been
created keeping in mind the vastness and
unpredictability of the vocabulary asked in
our exams.
How to Use Your Vocabulary
Booklet Effectively
1
First Reading:
Start by reading only those words you’re already familiar with. Just
skim through and highlight them with a marker. (Start with a singe
letter first and then keep moving to the next)
Second Reading:
2
Now revisit the words from the first reading. In this round, also
include those words you’ve heard once or twice but don’t fully
understand. Try to guess their meaning before checking it as this
helps your brain engage. Start framing sentence by your own to
hone your language skills & to easily recall the words
Third Reading:
3
In this round, revise everything from the first & second readings.
Then, focus on the words that are completely new to you, the
ones you’ve never come across. These need the most attention,
so spend more time understanding & using them.
Golden Rule:
Don’t Get Overwhelmed
The most important thing is don’t
panic when you see too many words.
Instead, fix a daily slot, even just 20–
30 minutes where you spend
focused time with your vocabulary
booklet.
The key is to connect words with
people around you like your friends,
family members, or real-life
situations. You can even make your
own sentences to relate words
better and remember them for long.
This technique makes them easy to
remember and much more fun to
learn.
As vocabulary is reduced , so are the number of feelings
you can express, the number of events you can describe,
the number of the things you can identify! Not only
understanding is limited, but also experience.
Man grows by language.
Whenever he limits language he retrogresses!
If you've neglected it or think of giving up too
soon, this is your wake-up call. It’s never too
late. Start now, stay consistent, and trust the
process. This booklet is enough! (provided
you stay committed).
And who knows? With regular practice, not
only will you ace vocabulary questions in
your exam… your friends might just start
calling you the next Shashi Tharoor. 😉
All the best!
