NOTE TO TENDERERS:

All quantities mentioned above are just for tender rate purposes. Actual billing will be
generated as per the final BOQ and work done.
However, the bidder must be strict on the filled rate throughout all work stages in any case
and conditions.
Retainion money and liquidity damage clauses will be covered separately by the client.

Description of items in Bills of Quantities (BOQ) is a shorted version and by itself is not fully
descriptive in all respects. For a full intent, BOQ description shall be read along with the
Preamble to BOQ, Technical specifications, and Tender Drawings. The rate quoted in the
BOQ by tenderers is deemed to have included all aspects covered in these documents unless
stated otherwise. All features and details shown in Tender Drawings are deemed to have
been included in the Rates quoted for corresponding items in the BOQ. The PEB Contractor
must strictly follow the specification as per the Tender document. In case of any
discrepancy/variation in dimensions observed in the BOQ, Tender Drawings Same should be
highlighted immediately by the vendor for further clarification to PMC. All other
requirements shall be considered required in the building and not mentioned in BOQ and
added in deviations.

All primary steel (refer to rigid frames, lean-to

rafters, column canopy rafter, interior column
members and end wall wind columns,Tie runner
etc.,) shall be built up sections from plates or bar
stock shall have flanges and web joined on both sides
of the web by continuous welding process. The
minimum plate thickness shall be 5 mm. The plate or
bar stock shall have minimum yield strength of 345
Mpa, grade 50 plates to ASTM A 572 Grade 50
equivalent to IS-2062. The built-up sections shall be
prepared by continuous submerged arc welding to
double side.

2 SECONDARY MEMBERS-

Purlins, girts, eaves struts,Eaves angle, Gable angle

and all form same material shall be cold-formed pre-
galvanized from steel coils which and minimum yield
strength of 345 Mpa and will confirm to the physical
specification of ASTM A-607 (Grade 50 or 7.84 MT -
equivalent). coating thickness shall be 120 gsm and
have a minimum thickness of 1.6 mm.it included all
member required for main structure, lean to, etc(any
where in structure)

3 SHEETING AND ACCESSORIES –

ROOF SHEETING-Supplying and fixing of puff panel

top 0.5mm thk & bottom 0.3mm thk with 50mm thk -
a 1029 m2
40 kg/m3 density . The colour of the sheet should be
approved by the Owner / PMC / Architect.
 SINGEL SKIN WALL CLADDING WITH TRAPEZOIDAL
PROFILE – Make AM/NS The outer panel shall be
with precoated Galvalume metal sheet wall cladding
at all heights using regular modified polyester (RMP)
paint colour coated 0.50 mm TCT ( Base metal
thickness should be 0.45 mm ) trapezoidal profile,
b 550 Mpa profiled Galvalume steel (Aluminium zinc 419 m2
alloy coating 150 gms/sqm total of both sides) and
with necessary self-drilling screws, EPDM bonded GI
washer, etc. for wall cladding. Trapezoidal profile
sheets shall be fixed with ordinary pierce fixation.
The colour of the sheet should be approved by the
Owner / PMC / Architect.

Downtake Pipe – 0.45mm BMT Color coated sheet of

550 MPa.
d Gutter - 0.45mm BMT Color coated sheet of 550 0.55 MT -
MPa. Both must maches the profile of side sheeting
and approved by PMC engg.

Anchor bolts with template are manufactured from

rods conforming to ASTM A 36M (or equivalent) with
a minimum yield strength of 250 MPa and an
4 ultimate strength of 400 MPa. 0.19 MT -
(placing of Anchor bolt in scope civil contractor but
checking and report before casting in scope of PEB
vendor

Hardware/Connection:All primary bolted

connections shall be provided with M.S. high
strength bolts, washers, nuts conforming to
specifications of grade 8.8 of IS 1367. Tightening of
bolts shall be turn of nut method by snug tight. All
5 high-strength bolts, nuts and washers shall be for 0.85 MT -
marked for easy identification. All hardware used
shall be GI plated.All secondary bolted connections
shall be furnished with bolts, nuts, and washers
conforming to the specifications of grade 4.6 of IS
1367 or ASTM-A307.

6 Additional accessories -

Turbo Fan 600 mm dia:Turbo fan with SS blades and

SS base plate mounted on the polycarbonate base
matching the profile of roof sheeting shall be
supplied and installed. Mastic tape shall be used to
seal the gap between the PPGI and the Poly sheet of
a stool.Turbo Ventilators shall be of 600mm diameter 4 NO.
with double fan made of high-grade aluminium vanes
for higher air change capacity, Turbo ventilators shall
have stainless steel top plate, inner cover and ring
and permanent lubricated bearing for noise free
operation, approved make PMC engineers.

Sky Lights ( 1x 3m): 2mm thick polycarbonate sheets

to be supplied and installed on the roof wherever
required. Mastic tape shall be used to seal the gap
between the PPGI and Poly sheet of stool. sheet shall

done, the contractor is not relieved of his responsibilities for

PEB Tenderers while quoting the rates should ensure that the quoted rate is inclusive of all the features and details as per
the Reference Drawings below:

WELDING
All shop connections shall be welded with double side automatic submerged arc welding and welding shall be in
accordance with IS 814 / AWS E 6013 for thickness up to 20 mm and AWS E 7018 for thickness above 20 mm and as
approved.
Ultrasonic test to be done as per IS 3664-(latest version), for cranes, Dye penetration test as per IS 3658- (latest version).
Welding quality test done at factory it self 10% of welding to be tested.
Painting:
a) sand blasting - Sa 2.5 (except secondary members)
b) one coat red oxide epoxy 35 dft
c) one coat enamel 35 dft, touch paint@ site in vendor scope
The colour of the finish paint shall be approved by the Owner / PMC / Architect. In case of local weld, fresh treatment shall
be repeated with the same colour to match the original
The PEB contractor/representative engineer on site during the period of bolt fixing, aligning, and concreting, using an
experienced surveyor while the Anchor bolts are kept in position by the civil contractor. Required number of MS templates
as specified in the preamble to BOQ to be supplied by the PEB contractor along with the Anchor bolts. The surveyor of the
PEB contractor shall be responsible for the clearance of accuracy of centerlines, levels, verticality, etc. of the bolts until the
pour card is signed and handed over to the civil contractor. The PEB contractor and the Civil contractor should sign in the
pour card together before and after concreting is done for fixing the Anchor bolts & Baseplate. After concreting, the
anchor bolts shall be covered properly by the PEB vendor for avoiding damage of threads by others.
