Berry Expansion
Setup: Each player takes 1 berry
token. Keep the berry token in
front of yourself until used.
Reduce Discards: You may put your berry
back in the box to reduce discarding by 1
card. This may be used immediately after
you lose a sale to put the card you played
back in your hand. Or this may be used when
you win a sale to discard 1 less card. Each
berry may be used only once per game.
Unused Berries: If unused, the token is
worth +2 points at the end of the game.
Hedgehog Edition: If used with Hedgehog
Edition rules, the token is worth +2 points at
the end of each round until used.
Uneven Deals: If there aren’t enough cards
to fill everyone’s hand evenly in the last
round, everyone gets one less card.

Wild 1-7 Expansion

These are like the wild 0 but worth
more points and have more Discard
Icons. Not recommended for
new players.
Setup: Shuffle the wild cards into the deck
or refer to the sideboard rules (page 11).
2
2x Set Expansion
These cards work like the 1x Set
cards, but they are worth double
points and have more Discard
Icons. Not recommended
for new players.
Setup: Shuffle the 2x Set cards into the
deck or refer to sideboard rules (page 11).

Big Hand Rules

You may play with bigger hands or more
players if you add more cards to Park Life
People Edition.
Deluxe: Add the wild cards and 2x Set
cards to Park Life to play with big hands!
Everything: Add all the cards from Deluxe
People and Deluxe Hedgehog to play with
bigger hands or up to 8 players.

You may play Deluxe People Edition with up
to 8 players if you combine it with everything
from Deluxe Hedgehog Edition.
For 5-8 players, you must use the following
rules for big groups.
5-6 players: Use the normal rules,
but each sale 2 players win the sale
and keep the card they won with.
7-8 players: Use the normal rules,
but each sale 3 players win the sale
and keep the card they won with.

4
Next Lead: The last winner goes first in the
next round.
Ties: Ties are always won by the last tied
card played.
On Suit: If enough players play on suit, off
suit cards cannot win.
Off Suit: If only 1 on suit card in a 5-6 game,
or 1-2 on suit cards in a 7-8 player game are
played, the last lowest off suit cards win in
place of the missing winners.
Discard: Remember that each sale winner
must discard cards from their hands. Keep
an eye on the players next to you.

GAME END
5-6 players: Top 2 players win the game.
7-8 players: Top 3 players win the game.
All tied players win together.

5
Solo/Co-op vs Al Rules
(1-6 players)
Story: You or a team of players compete
against a stack of cards known as Big Al.
Al is a charismatic merchant that tricks folk
into buying the wrong items for the weather by
offering low prices. You must earn more than Al
to show them how to be a proper park merchant.
Overview: The team, whether humans or
Al, with the highest score after 3 rounds
wins the game.
Differences: Play with the normal rules
with the following changes.
Al Setup: Al gets their own pile of face
down cards representing their hand.
For solo play, Al's pile sits to the right of
both of your hands. For co-op play, Al’s
hand sits between 2 random players. For 5-6
players, Al gets more hands, sitting evenly apart.
Solo Deal Cards: Deal 8 cards to Al face
down and yourself three hands of 8 cards
face up. For less challenge, deal yourself two
hands of 10 cards, and Al 10 cards as well.
Solo Turn Order: Keep your hands face up
and Al’s hand face down. Play your hands
like they were different players sitting
clockwise at a table with Al.
6
Co-op Deal Cards: Deal cards to players
and Al according to the chart. If there isn't
enough cards in the last round, everyone
draws 1 fewer card.

Gameplay
Winners per Sale: Read pages 4-5 for how
multiple players win a sale in 5-8 player games.
Table Talk: You may adjust the difficulty by
limiting communication about cards in hand.
Forced Follow Suit: During sales, human
players must play a card on suit if able.
If you don’t have an on suit card, you may play
any card, but winners are chosen as normal.
When Al isn't first player, the card Al plays
counts as on suit, helping Al win more often.
Wilds: Wilds count as on suit for every suit.
You may play them during any sale. If you
don't have any other cards in the leading suit,
you must play one of your wild cards.
7
Al Follows: If a player leads the sale, Al
plays in seating order. Al flips over the top
card from their pile. When following, the
card Al plays always counts as on suit.
Al Wins Sale: Regardless of the suit, if
Al's card has the lowest value, they win the
sale. Al discards a random card from hand
for each Discard Icon and goes first next
sale. Al wins ties if they played the last
lowest value card.
Al Loses Sale: If Al’s card is higher than
anyone’s on suit cards or not the last played
tied card, Al loses the sale. Discard the card
they played.

Al Leads: If Al wins a sale, they lead the

next sale by flipping the top card from their
pile. Whatever card Al reveals is the on suit
card for the sale, and players must play on
suit if able. Whoever plays the last lowest
card on suit wins the sale.

Set Cards: When Al plays a Set card,

calculate the value according to the printed
suit. But the card counts as on suit when
comparing against the player's cards to see
who won the sale. Set cards score according
to their printed suit at the end of the game.
8
4-6 Player Reminder:
For 4 players vs Al, 2 cards win each sale.
For 5-6 players vs 2 Als, 3 win each sale.
Refer to pages 4-5 for large player count rules.

End of Round
The round ends when all the players finish
playing their hands.
Al Alone: If Al still has cards in their hand
at the end of the round, the game ends and
the players lose.
Remember: Don't shuffle cards won at the
end of each round. Shuffle discarded cards
and the deck and deal another round. The
game ends after 3 rounds.

End of Game
The game concludes after 3 rounds. If Al
still has cards in their hand, the players lose.
Team Score: The players win or lose
as a team. The human team's score equals
the score of the player with the lowest
score. In 4-6 player games, Al’s team score
is the highest of the two Al scores.

Winning: If the human team score is higher

than Al’s score, the players win. If the score
is equal or lower, Al wins.

Some Variants
1. More Fair Wild 0 Variant
Before the first round, deal each player a
wild 0 card. Then, deal up to the given hand
size for the player count.
Shuffle leftover wild 0 cards into the deck.
In subsequent rounds, shuffle all wild 0
cards that were not won into the deck.

2a. Drafting Variant

Each round, deal hands like normal.
Players simultaneously select two cards from
their hand, place them face down in front of
themselves, and pass the remaining cards
clockwise. Continue to pick and pass until
players have a full hand of cards.

2b. Forced Follow Variant

If playing with the Drafting Variant,
you can also add this variant.
On Suit: You must play on suit if able.
Wilds: Wilds always count as on suit. You
may play a wild for any sale. If you don’t have
any other cards on suit, you must play one of
your wild cards.
Off Suit: If you cannot play on suit, you may
play any card, but you cannot win that sale.
10
3. Sideboard Variant 2-4 players
Players start with a choice of three powerful
cards to add to their hand each round. It’s a
blend between variants on page 10.
Special Card Piles: Before setup, shuffle
three different piles: the 2x Set cards, Wild
0 cards, and Wild 1-7 cards.
Sideboards: Shuffle each pile separately
and give each player a random card from
each pile, face down. These 3 cards make
each player’s ‘sideboard’. Shuffle any
leftover cards into the deck.
Deal: Deal 3 less card to each player the
first round. Second round deal 2 less cards.
Third round deal 1 less card.
Choose One: Before each round, after
players draw and look at their hands, each
player chooses a card from the sideboard to
add to their hand for the round. That card is
shuffled into the deck the following round.
Re-deal (optional): If the game goes
longer than 3 rounds, repeat the sideboard
setup and give everyone 3 sideboard cards
again.
