OBSERVATIONS:

1. The letter “X” after the certificate number indicates the following conditions for
safe use:

Repairs of flameproof joints shall not be undertaken by the end user. In the
event that flameproof joint must be repaired, contact the manufacturer.

2. This Certificate is valid only for products with the same model and type as the
tested prototype. Any modification in the project, as well as the use of
components apart from those defined by the technical documentation, without
previous authorization from Bureau Veritas Certification, will invalid this
Certificate.

3. According to clause 7.1 of IEC 60079-7 standard, each apparatus shall be

submitted before delivery to a dielectric strength test (carried out in accordance
with clause 6.1).

4. When the creepage and clearance dimensions are rigidly controlled by tooling in
the manufacturing process, the routine tests may be performed on a statistical
basis in accordance with ISO 2859-1 with an acceptance quality limit (AQL) of
0,04.

5. The Plug and Socket shall have, on their outer surface and in a visible place, the
Conformity Mark and the technical characteristics thereof, according to the
specifications of the Standard ABNT NBR IEC 60079-0 /
ABNT NBR IEC 60079-1 / ABNT NBR IEC 60079-7 /
ABNT NBR IEC 60079-31 / ABNT NBR IEC 60529 and Conformity
Assessment Requirements, attached to INMETRO Ordinance 115, published on
March 21, 2022. This marking must be legible and durable, possible chemical
corrosion.

6. The Plug and Socket must have the following warnings affixed in a visible and
indelible manner:

“WARNING –DO NOT OPEN WHEN ENERGIZED”

“WARNING –POTENTIAL ELECTROSTATIC CHARGING HAZARD

7. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the products are installed in
compliance with the relevant Standards for Electrical Installations in Explosive
Atmospheres and the manufacturer's recommendations.

8. The activities of installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul and

recovery of equipment are the responsibility of users and must be implemented
in accordance with the requirements of current technical standards and the
manufacturer's recommendations.

9. The Manufacturer shall provide manual of installation and safe use written in
Portuguese.

OBSERVAÇÕES:

1. A letra “X” após o número do certificado, denota a seguintes condições especificas

de utilização:
Reparos de juntas à prova de explosão não devem ser realizados pelo usuário final.
No caso de juntas à prova de explosão precisarem ser reparadas, entre em contato
com o fabricante.

2. Este Certificado de Conformidade é válido para os produtos de modelo e tipo

idêntico ao protótipo ensaiado. Qualquer modificação de projeto ou utilização de
componentes e materiais diferentes daqueles descritos na documentação deste
processo, sem autorização prévia do Bureau Veritas Certification, invalidará o
certificado.

3. Os conjuntos de plugues e tomadas devem ser submetidos ao ensaio de rotina de

rigidez dielétrica de 2 x Un + 1000 V, durante 1 minuto.

4. Quando as distâncias de isolação e escoamento são rigidamente controladas por

ferramentas no processo de fabricação, os testes de rotina podem ser realizados em
uma base estatística de acordo com a ISO 2859-1 com um limite de qualidade de
aceitação (AQL) de 0,04.

5. Os conjuntos de plugues e tomadas devem ter gravado na sua superfície externa e

em local visível, a Marca de Conformidade e as características técnicas da mesma de
acordo com as especificações da Norma ABNT NBR IEC 60079-0 /
ABNT NBR IEC 60079-1 / ABNT NBR IEC 60079-7 /
ABNT NBR IEC 60079-31 / ABNT NBR IEC 60529 e Requisitos de Avaliação da
Conformidade, anexo à Portaria 115 do INMETRO, publicada em 21 de Março de
2022. Esta marcação deve ser legível e durável, levando-se em conta possivel
corrosão química.

6. Os conjuntos de plugues e tomadas devem ter, afixada em lugar visível e de modo

indelével, as seguintes advertências:
