Usage Dulux Ambiance VT Diamond Glo is acrylic based premium quality
paint. It is an ultra-luxurious water based interior emulsion with the
smooth touch of velvet. Dulux Ambiance Velvet Touch is
recommended for interior surfaces only.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE A guide to the practical coverage which can be achieved under
normal conditions is 16-18m2 /litre /coat.

APPLICATION
Brush Roller
THINNING
Brush For sealing new or bare surfaces thin with up to 3 parts of clean water
to 4 parts of paint (75%). For application with brush thinning should
not exceed 2-3 parts of clean water to 4 parts of paint (60-70%).
Roller For application with roller thinning should not exceed 0.5-0.75 parts
of clean water to 4 parts of paint (10-15%).
CLEANING UP Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
SURFACE PREPARATION New surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly
adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Treat any area affected by
mould, lichens, algae or moss with Aquashield Pre Treatment Coat.
Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using
a suitable abrasive paper and then dust off.
FILLING NEW SURFACES After priming new surfaces with Dulux Int. Acrylic Primer or Dulux
Prime on fill the surface with Int. Acrylic Putty. Please refer to PDS of
Int. Acrylic Putty for correct application procedure and drying time
properties. Third coat of Int. Acrylic Putty can be applied for extra
smoothness. For best results apply one coat of Int. acrylic Primer
again over wall putty and dry 3-4 hours.

POWDRY SURFACES Make good minor defects. For larger holes and cracks use sand and
cement mixture. Allow the surface to dry completely. Prime surface
with Dulux Int. Acrylic Primer or Dulux Prime on and then fill any
surface imperfections with the Int. Acrylic Putty. Scuff surface using
abrasive paper and dust off.

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION
Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or
fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use
suitable personal protection equipment.
Lift with care – gross weight exceeds 10kg
Wear eye/ hand protection. Do not breathe vapors/spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Avoid release to
the environment. Collect spillage. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Store in a cool
and shaded place. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case
of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of
contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use
solvents or thinners. Do not empty into water course. Safety data sheet available for professional/
user on request.
