! DANGER DANGER indicates when there is an immediate danger that

! WARNING WARNING indicates a risk of danger that m a y l e a d to death
or serious physical injury.
! CAUTION CAUTION used with the safety alert symbol indicates a risk of
danger that leads to slight or moderate physical injury and/ or
damage to property.
NOTICE NOTICE used without the safety alert symbol indicates a risk of
danger that if disregarded leads or may lead to a potential
situation which may result in an undesirable result or state other
than death, physical injury or property damage.

1.5 Safety information and protective measures
NOTE • When performing service work and tests, observe:
- the product-specific safety instructions in the documenta-
tion,
- the safety guidelines TD00-000.860.01... ,
- the general safety guidelines contained in the ARTD part 2.
• Always unplug the line power connection when working on the
system.
• Follow all general safety rules when working with the system
under power.
• Observe ESD regulations!
• Perform the protective conductor test according to
ARTD-002.731.17 upon completion of the work and after all cov-
ers have been reattached. The ground wire resistance must not
exceed 0.2 ohms.

SIE Ventilation
• Clean the ventilation slots on the DICOM bridge and inspect the fan for proper opera-
tion.
SIE Protective Conductor Test
• Measure the protective conductor with the protective conductor testing device accord-
ing to ARTD-002.731.17.
NOTE The protective conductor test is part of the safety inspection. It can
only be performed, however, when maintenance has been com-
pleted and the covers are closed or reattached. Refer to the "Final
work steps" section.

• As part of the system IQ quick test, perform the IQ Quicktest as described in Chapter 6
of the Installation and Adjustment Instructions, SPR2-130.033.04.

SIE Protective Conductor Test
• Perform the protective conductor test with the system's covers closed and panels at-
tached, according ARTD-002.731.17. The protective conductor resistance may not ex-
ceed 0.2 Ohms.
