Computer Based Assessment (Qualifying in nature).

Tier 2: After qualifying in the Tier 1 exam students have to appear for the Tier 2 exam
which is post specific. Paper I (Obligatory for all posts), Paper-II for applicants who
apply for the posts of Junior Measurable Official (JSO) in the Service of Measurements
and Program Execution, and Paper III for competitors who apply for the posts of
Collaborator Review Official/Aide Records Official.

All competitors who have applied effectively for the SSC CGL test will be doled out
Roll numbers and Concede Cards for showing up in the PC Based Assessment (Level
I).
In light of the imprints scored in Level I, applicants will be shortlisted, class-wise, to
show up in Level II and Level III Assessments.
Separate shorts will be delivered independently for Paper-II of Level II (for example
for the post of Junior Factual Official (JSO), Paper-III of Level II (for example for
the posts of Aide Review Official and Right-hand Records Official), and Paper-I of
Level II (for example for any remaining posts).
Level II Assessments will be led for every one of the applicants qualified in Level I.
In Level II, every one of the applicants will be expected to show up in Paper-I, II,
and Paper-III. Nonetheless, only unambiguous up-and-comers shortlisted for the
posts of Junior Measurable Official (JSO) and Partner Review Official/Collaborator
Records Official will be expected to separately show up in Paper II and Paper III.

SSC CGL 2025 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL 2025 exam pattern has four stages known as Tier. In the SSC CGL 2025
exam, we have four tiers. Let’s talk about them in detail.

Tier -1

The tier-1 exam is the first stage of the SSC CGL 2025 exam and is compulsory for
all candidates.
It is qualifying in nature with multiple choice questions.

Tier 1 has 100 questions of 200 marks.
Tier 1 comprises four subjects – General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative
Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Comprehension. There are 25 questions
from each section.
The duration to solve the question paper is 60 minutes and 80 minutes for VH
(visually handicapped) candidates.

Tier-2

The tier-2 exam has four papers. These papers are post-specific. Given below is a
detailed description of all the papers for Tier 2 of the SSC CGL 2025 exam.

Paper I is compulsory for all the posts.


Paper II is for candidates who apply for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the
Ministry of Statistics and Programmed Implementation.
Paper III is for candidates who apply for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts
Officer.

Skill Test (On The Same Day)

Skill test required for some government posts. Candidates who secure at least the
minimum qualifying marks in the examination (Tier I, II) can appear in the Skill
Test.There are two test (depending on the post)-

Data Entry speed test for the post of Tax Assistants.


Computer Proficiency Test for the post of Assistant Section Officer of Central
Secretariat Service (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious
Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and
Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is a qualifying exam in online mode. When preparing for the
exam, candidates are advised to prepare for the exam in an orderly manner according
to the study materials. Below are some brief facts about the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam.

The primary stage is objective PC-based assessment.


SSC CGL 2025 Level 1 comprises 100 questions, containing 25 questions each from
4 subjects’ -Quantitative aptitude, English, general awareness general intelligence,
and reasoning.
The questions are from the prospectus of the sixth to the tenth norm.

Reasoning is a little simpler than quantitative aptitude. The questions from reasoning
take less time to solve. You will find questions from judgment, visual memory, etc.
Here are some tips to excel in your Reasoning preparation.
