Conclusion
During my internship at Samyak Rehab, my primary aim was to learn, contribute, and grow
as a professional in the field of mental health care. I sought to deepen my understanding of
various mental health conditions and the holistic approaches used at Samyak, which is known
for its 24/7 psychiatric support and personalised recovery programs. Throughout my time at
the centre, I supported patients in their recovery journeys, actively participated in counselling
sessions, and assisted in group therapies and daily activities designed to foster well-being and
resilience.
I developed greater empathy, improved my communication skills, and became more
confident in handling real-life clinical situations. The multidisciplinary environment at
Samyak allowed me to collaborate with experienced psychiatrists, psychologists, and
counsellors, which enriched my learning experience. I also gained valuable insight into how
individualised care plans and evidence-based therapies can make a meaningful difference in
patients’ lives.
Reflecting on my internship, I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked in such a
supportive and innovative setting. I believe my contributions helped create a positive and safe
environment for patients, and I am proud to have played a role in their progress. My
experience at Samyak Rehab has inspired me to continue pursuing a career in mental health,
equipped with enhanced skills, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive impact
in the lives of others.
