“What real value can I offer someone?”
That’s when I started learning skills, solving problems for others, and charging fairly.
That one shift changed everything.
Let me break this down step by step for you.
Step 1: Identify a Real Problem People Are Desperate to Solve.
Money follows urgency and pain points.
To create value, find what people are already begging to fix.
Here’s how:
Search Reddit, Quora, TikTok comments, Twitter threads.
Join Facebook groups or forums in areas you're curious about.
Listen for complaints like:
“I hate editing videos”
“My business isn’t growing”
“No one sees my content”
“I feel lost in my finances”
The Key Question is: “What are people stuck with and would gladly pay to escape?
This is the seed of value creation. Once you have planted this seed, then you move to this next step.
So Step 2: Learn a Skill That Solves That Problem
You don’t need to go back to school, you just need to get resourceful.
We live in a time where the internet is your university.
This is how to learn fast and cheap:
1. Use YouTube, free tutorials for everything, just search: “how to do X things for clients”
2. You can use Self-paced platforms for structured learning: Coursera, Skillshare, Udemy, Khan Academy,
LinkedIn Learning
Learn while doing: Pick one skill and use a “project-based” method.
For example: Want to learn video editing? Edit short clips for yourself.
Want to learn copywriting? Rewrite real product pages.
Repeat until you can do it with ease.
Then you’re ready to offer that value to the world.
Examples of high-demand skills: Video editing, Copywriting, Social media content, Basic design, Notion
systems setup, Branding, Bookkeeping, Digital product creation, Automation with tools like Zapier,
Make, Airtable

Instagram, Facebook groups, Fiverr / Upwork (for starters)
Momentum builds when someone says: “That helped me, how can I pay you?”
Step 4: Build Systems Around That Skill
This is where you go from hustler to builder.
By Systems, I mean:
Creating templates so you don’t repeat work.
Building a client onboarding flow.
Automating delivery with Google Forms, Notion, Zapier.
Setting up a calendar and payment system.
Using tools like Canva, Trello, Stripe, Calendly, Notion, Gumroad, etc.
Example:
Instead of designing every Instagram post from scratch, you can create a template pack and sell it as a
digital product.
