NOTICE
National Students Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2025
(As per UGC D.O.No. 2-21/2023(CPP-II))(C.124427) dated 4th July, 2025)
‘Climate change is increasingly becoming a global challenge and already the world has
started seeing catastrophic results in various forms such as increased frequencies of cyclones,
floods, cloud bursts, forest fires and extreme weather conditions’
In reference to the UGC letter mentioned above, all faculty members and students are hereby
informed that Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi, an organization committed to environmental
improvement, is organizing the National Students Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) from
1st July 2025 to 21st August 2025.This initiative is aimed at raising awareness about the
severe impacts of climate change and encouraging active participation in environmental
conservation efforts. The program is being conducted with the support of the Ministry of
Education and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government
of India. All participating institutions and students will be awarded E-certificates. VGU is also
going to conduct ‘Tree Plantation Drive’ on 8th August, 2025’

Important Instructions:
• All faculty members and students are encouraged to register and actively participate in
the competition.
• Participation in the Quiz Competition is mandatory for all students who have appeared
in Environment-related courses during the Odd Semesters in Session 2024-25.

Aims & Objectives of the Program:
1. Holistic Actions for Revival of Indigenous Traditions (HARIT).
2. To foster understanding among young individuals and the general public regarding the
intricate complexities of the imminent threats posed by unchecked climate destruction.
3. To acquire knowledge on the job skills, competency & attitude to confront the environmental
challenges & their mitigation.
